Yeah, I mean - folk can ultimately do as they please - I just don't really understand that mentality. You've likely been sat or stood beside them and/or you've probably seen them before or will see them after. I don't understand why folk go to the stadium and don't sing either tbh. Given the vast amount of televised football now, legally or otherwise, then why wouldn't you watch at home if you were purely there to watch the football. Surely, the whole reason you go to the stadium is to support the team and/or enjoy the atmosphere. Why would you go to enjoy the atmosphere and not contribute to it too? Peculiar.

"Ticket prices are horrific" Same people... "I need a pint cause it's been 40mins since my last one" Let's say it's £45 a ticket that's £2.50 just being pissed away every time you leave 5mins early at half time. Just peculiar.

Was talking to some older Man City fans pre match and they said Newcastle is one of the best places to come and just because all the people are so friendly. Kept shaking my hand and fist pumping and that. Perhaps I'm just becoming old in my views, but I feel like older fans of clubs like Man City and Chelsea are actually pretty decent - they remember their bad times and remember that they were once like us, if not less successful. Whereas the younger fans are typical, social media driven, entitled little cunts.
