heard it for about 2 mins in the Gallowgate and me an my mates couldn't work out what was been sung, all we could make out was the whey ya knaa bit! Might have sounded briliant in the middle of the leazes corner but it didn't catch on. Got to say while the game yesterday was very poor it was also a dreadful atmosphere, whole ground was like a morgue! Agreed. However, just on the song, it caught on really quickly in my opinion. Considering only 20 or 30 started it off and the whole Leazes Level 7 were singing it eventually. Next game it'll be even more - no doubt.

We’re Newcastle, and we’re gonna win the league, we’re gonna win the league, we’re gonna win the league. We’re Newcastle, and we’re gonna win the league, we’re gonna win the league, we’re gonna win the league! Oh wey y’kna, oh wey y’kna, oh wey y’knaaaa, oh wey y’kna. Oh wey y’kna, oh wey y’kna, oh wey y’knaaaa, oh wey y’kna. :colo:

I must say Steve Bruce is doing a marvellous job as SMB manager.

Whose team am I on and where are we playing on the 6th then?
-
There's only one Michael Ashley.

The same Guthrie who has created more league goals than anyone else in our squad? This. Nolan was diabolical in the 2-2 with WBA. Nolan's been diabolical most of the season tbh, it's the fact that the goals have dried up that makes it even worse. Fair dues, but for the time being - Shola is the best man to partner Lovenkrands.

We're too scared to drop both of them as they've scored goals, but they add nothing else to the team and prevent us playing football that might lead to any number more. So who would you replace Shola with?

I'm happy, very happy...isn't it bizarre, we used to get excited about £17m signings like Owen. This one was probably a £1.7m signing...and yet he'll show more promise, more than likely. There's only one Michael Ashley...

i was saying the other day that we should sign him. Good move imo.

Who for?

Let's just settle it. The Leazes Corner are proper footy fans and the rest of you are shit.

Maybe its someone writing with the frustration of how one section of the ground sings through-out most of the game, backing the team, and the rest of the ground rarely choose to join in? Maybe as someone who is passionate about Nufc it is bloody annoying that a lot of the supporters are more interested in moaning & groaning at any mistake than encouraging & supporting? Its fair enough you get a condescending impression of that quote, but why pretend that what I've said isnt the case, because it is. And it is ironic that the 'get out of out club song', a song which has been accused of creating a negative atmosphere (which is fair enough if thats your opinion), comes from the only part of the ground that seems to offer susatined positive encouragement through-out the game - with a lot of other fans choosing to go "AAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!" when a player isnt being closed down in our half. I never once said anything about the so-called negative atmosphere created from up there, more the fact that there seems to be a holier-than-thou attitude from a lot of folk up there because they sing "get out of our club" and "your support is f***ing s***" a few times during the match. That's just as condescending as what I said tbf. You mean the post that wasn't condescending? Aye, that's the one. xxx

It depends what you want out of the football match... in that case im in the wrong stadium altogether cos i want to see exciting attacking football. Gateshead International... you can see that from L7 cant you. Aye, I think.

That doesn't mean we think we're better supporters, just that we're more vocal, and positively vocal at that. So the amount of times people from level 7 go on about how much they sing and the rest of the ground are s*** at backing their team doesn't mean you think you are better supporters then? Fair enough I suppose. Depends what you consider to be backing your team I guess. Financially those in level 7 are worse. In years of going to the match I guess those in Level 7 are probably worse. But in vocal support, I would say that Level 7 is better.

You confuse booing with old bastards struggling for breath.
-
If the East stand start taking Helium they'd sound like an echo from L7. It beats the booing that they normally do...
-
How do we consider ourselves better when those who aren't in Level 7 are the ones criticising?
-
Hey, I've been east stand for 19 years. The east side is where you find the OGs. The majority in there are miserable like, they should all be given Helium before the go to the game to make them laugh and smile a tad.
-
Liam O would probably enjoy that. Thought LLLO sat in L7? He can't, man - He doesn't match the criteria: He's old, miserable and doesn't sing. In the corner iirc. You're fishing way out of your depth. You don't try and catch a shark with a hand-reel baby x
