Exactly my response too Foden inside and Gordon wide left.

I thought I'd misheard that

The more they turn the screw on us the more it should work in our favour. Backs to the wall, come out swinging.

How much we paying for this chap?

Exactly this. A nice reminder that the team is more important than the individuals contained within.

There's a difference between confidence and arrogance/petulance. Jude needs to understand that.

I'm actually raging still tbh. Absolutely top drawer goal from Bellingham and he has saved the day in essence but that whole bowing to the crowd can get to fuck. Don't mind running away in excitement etc but that bow. Fuck me. Speaks volumes of his attitude. Get back and get the game won. We've absolutely robbed this lot. Southgate has been god awful and pig ignorant and we've been saved from individual brilliance/moments. Thought today was gonna be the day we turned the corner. Southgate hasn't and the team haven't. Switzerland will brush us to one side if we play like this.

Ronaldo should be off.

Absolutely none and I agree with your post, but I didn't boo Bruce or the team then either. Largely because my belief was that the team were trying although Bruce wasn't (even though they clearly weren't giving their all but likely because of low morale and mismanagement). I don't think that will be said at international level, they're all being pro's and respectful and showing unity. However, I reckon behind closed doors they're all thinking WTF too.

Also feel he's become a lot more well rounded as an individual since getting away from Everton.
-
Early in the game he took a swipe at the grass either out of frustration or sheer petulance and for me it just wasn't a good look. Also seen him flapping his arms about in recent games too. Hate that shit me. Spoilt little cunt. Mbappe is the worst I've seen for it, him and Ronaldo.

What the actual fuck.

If there was a lack of effort then aye, fair. There isn't a lack of effort though, so not sure what booing them achieves apart from airing frustration. Get more flies with sugar than shit.

The analysis whilst a lot has been accurate about changes needed the bias in what they're suggesting is wank. Ironic I know, but Gordon literally made a 20yard defence splitting pass to give us one of our best chances of the game within like 3mins and no mention, instead it was all about Cole Palmer and fucking Mainoo, before the game it was all about fucking Gallagher. WTF are these folk seeing like? Foden left Trippier 2 for 1 when out of possession like all evening and when we were in possession he fucked off inside where Bellingham and Kane were already inhabiting his space. Saka did nigh on fuck all. Bellingham has too much attitude and hype about himself. Southgate is too stubborn. Every man and his dog can see at least 2 or 3 better suggestions than the existing set up and yet he just sticks to the same old drab, drawn out, under performing shite. Was just horseshit. 2 goals scored and one close win in a group where we really could have put our foot down and said to everyone else "Here we are. Fear us." I'm intrigued if we play a high intensity side, welleithwr get dicked or finally come out our shell. As I type this, ITV presenter says "I don't think there's much difference between England and Spain and Italy, only that they've won things". Jesus. Fucking. Christ.

What a pile of fucking wank.

Actually feel a bit for Southgate tbh. I think he's done a wonderful job in reconnecting the players with the England fans and giving them some degree of relatability. A lot of them seem to be very professional and represent England the right ways. However, where he is falling down is tactically and through his team selection. These also result in being contributory factors for bad man management. Play world class players out of position and they'll not play their best and won't appreciate it. That in itself loses you influence, none moreso than when you're England manager and our press are relentlessly willing to give you shit at the drop of a hat. The issue with our current squad is that it's quite clearly strong in attack and they're being made to defend/control games rather than obliterate sides. He isn't the man for this job at present. If we have a more attacking minded manager come in for the world cup then we could actually do alright I feel. Every single person I've spoken with re. England asks what we're doing with at least one of the following; Kane Watkins Foden TAA Gordon Palmer Mainline But each and every time it centres around our lack of a left hand side, a striker that players CM and a CDM that's a RWB. I think when you start coming out in the media and not acknowledging these things then you're on to a hiding to nothing like. He really must get a tune out this lot and a solid performance or two in the next two or we'll be dumped out prematurely and he'll be ditched rather emphatically I suspect. Shame really, in short, another fine respectable gentleman that will likely be ridiculed, mocked, torn apart and dumped by our media. Just like SBR.

Wash your mouth out.

Aye but it's literally like the only thing you can hear them singing at any point otherwise it's been nigh on silent today.
-
Maybe, but there's probably a good 30 teams in this tournament who've all attacked when they've needed to and attempted to break teams down. Scotland wasted 45mins of this game dicking about trying to play it safe. Lack of ability is one thing but a lack of urgency has killed them in this game. Best thing Scotland can do on the big stage is get their fans on board and really press the shit out of people and get amongst them. There's been very little of that in this game and perhaps to some degree, understandably none of that in the first game when they were outclassed. I don't know, just feel they could have done more personally and been braver.
-
Cannot believe I wasted two brown ales on this Scotland game. Love the Scots singing Flower of Scotland but that's seemingly like their only song. Been on the bagpipes about 8 times this game. Supposed to be Scotland the brave and they've shat their pants every time they've reached the final third. Shite.

Literally embarrassing how much they use FTM. Bet they put it on birthday cards to their 90 year old nana and with deepest sympathy cards when someone dies. "So sorry for your loss FTM" The irony.

Feel like he was a decent keeper when he first came, but after a few shakey moments all confidence has gone and that's resulted in less confident Goalkeeping and generally him becoming a lot worse. To some degree, I think Pope has also lost confidence since that Liverpool incident a few years back. The thing with Dubravka is it's more evident. He's a fairly average keeper who was being made to look better under lesser management because we sat deeper and were generally shiter so he had to do more shot stopping. Now we press high and there's more need to be a sweeper keeper who can play the ball about he's being found out a bit. Has never really commanded his area too so suspect there's a lack of confidence from those in front of him. Sadly (for him) I think his time is up. He put a loose nail in his coffin with the whole Man United thing too for most fans I suspect. Need a young replacement to come in under Pope (such as Trafford).
