Not sure why everyone is saying we need 6 points before Man United and Chelsea play this weekend tbh. Beat Man United and they're out of the race. A tall order of course but they're not upto much at present either. Both sides have to play a decent Brighton side that we played today....away. We'll be alreet.

I personally just don't get over-negativity in any walk of life. Like obviously sometimes there is good cause to be negative, but surely if mankind had an overly negative attitude to everything in life we wouldn't live in the world we live in like. "Ah there's no way you can make a light that you simply switch on and off, that candles gone out millions of times and that won't ever change you fool"

We're still in the driving seat. Some folk just desperate to be fucking negative.

We want to remain fan funded as much as possible because we are independent from the club. Whilst we work with the club and collaboratively on most displays, we don't want them to define what we say and do. The message and display has to be organic and pure. Whether that is a heartfelt message or an ode to an old strip, it is Newcastle United. The fans, are Newcastle United. They are a business operating in the football industry under the guise of Newcastle United. This isn't necessarily the feeling of Wor Flags but that of my own. Too much 'club' involvement leads to too much corporate vibes, and trust me when I say we've kicked back on a similar amount that the club have suggested as they have to us. My personal view is that the players connect to it more because of that level of separation, and hopefully knowing that if they do the right thing for us as players, we will back them wholeheartedly.

Took me about 40mins to map on Excel using conditional formatting. The one we have planned for Brighton (if we do it) took a lot, lot longer and will look outstanding if we pull it off. Took myself and one other 2 hours to map out the yellow outlines on Thursday then yesterday we had 30 helpers from the Swedish Mags group who helped blast the display out the water in like an hour. We then stayed back to refine some bits and tidy etc.

Where's best to get the Yellow and Green Greenalls shirt in town? Start Fitness or Back Page perhaps?

We do it in Excel for the most part and follow our self designed seating plan. Then eye ball it in after it's done.
