This is an issue with all TV commentary for me. Radio commentary is far, far better. They capture the emotion and explain what you'd be seeing. Obviously there's less need for it if you're watching, but if you were a blind person listening to both you probably wouldn't have much clue what was going on, on the TV half the time. Loads of waffle about shitty irrelevant stats. "Garnacho is wearing new boots designed by Nike today, the first time he has wore Nike since 2021" who gives a shit?!

Obviously, the team with the most points deserves to stay up, but based on effort and performance, you'd be very disappointed to see Everton stay up at the hands of Luton.

Absolutely mad these bastards. Would have been convincing themselves we were shite and they'd beat us and then been all surprised when we dicked them without even needing a chat up line. They were utter shite. If they played with less delusion and more compact they might have had a better chance, as frankly we weren't anywhere near our best and still ran out easy winners. Had a discussion with a long standing match mate tonight whom is in his 60's. General feeling, not just for him, but for me also, was that there simply isn't enough young pissed lads together. Have to say I agree. It isn't popular because the way football is rightly going. It's more sanitised and accessible. There has to be a happy medium, I'm not sure what it is.
