  1. Ha ha! Fuckin hell, is that a wig slipping down the back of the fat fool's head? :lol:t
  2. What a superb goal, brilliantly worked. Quite impressed with the smoggies here.
  3. Aye the look on his face when Watmore knocked that pass way in front of him said it all. :-)
  4. What a strike that was, love it when they go right in the top corner like that, immensely satisfying.
  5. They're going to win the league by at least ten points and you can quote me on that.
  6. Thank fuck we're finally getting rid of this waster. Not his fault (presumably) that he was constantly injured, but it baffles me what anyone saw in him in his fleeting cameos. All I'll remember will be him missing one of the worst sitters I've ever seen against Villa and if you can single out a moment as being the biggest contribution to our relegation, that's the one.
  7. Gave up on it at half time, you could tell what was coming. Ronaldos right, playing two or three defensive midfielders in this division is crazy. Did Anita last the whole 90? If so Noticed Colback was on the bench at the end, so at least he was seen through.
  8. Unbelievable how these fuckers get away with it, praising Lascelles for having a go at the players after defeats, when he was content to sit there with a stupid grin on his face. Motivating the players was YOUR job Steve.
  9. It's so the failed managers can reinforce their "Geordie fans with unrealistic expectations" guff.
  10. Would have loved that tbf. I used to work for Arup, it was class. He also designed Kingsgate Bridge in Durham which (although concrete) is an absolute beaut. The Arup design was by far the best stadium design ever planned on the existing site. It was proposed by the council, to hold 62000 for football, had a motorway planned along the route of present day St James' boulevard, to link up with the central motorway. Office space was to be in the listed buildings on a requisitioned St James' Terrace, the pitch being moved 25 metres towards Barrack Road. The club objected to the multi sport complex to be built under the huge new West Stand, also saying they were broke and could not afford the £300,000 contribution to the estimated £2.5m cost. Instead they went for the much cheaper option, resulting in just the building of the highly unsatisfactory present East Stand.
  11. Listening to the two cockney knackers on Talksport now (I know, I know) talking about fat sham. They've had two makem twats on in a row. It's fuckin comedy gold. They are fuckin *devastated* at him possibly leaving. Made my mind up. Big Sam for England!
  12. Yup, no doubt Deschamps has lost them this.
  13. Thought it was Joe Hart for a second there
  14. God this tournament has been shite. That "Energy Of Azerbaijan" advert has been the highlight for me.
  15. Comfortably the worst post I've seen on here recently and there's been some competition. You really think Rafa (one f, by the way), hasn't seen two premier league players and a keeper (who has a name *Sels*), play before? This bloke does his homework. He's not Pardew. Not what was said, I think Carr is behind them. Fine if Raffa rubber stamped it. But I still think more Carr than Raffa. So f***? The main issue we had with Carr's recent signings were physical unsuitability for the league. Neither of these players have that problem and both have decent (or better) records in the division we're playing in. You also discount the idea that Rafa has maintained a network of contacts over here who might well have advised him. And the "not 100% in control" statement is utter horseshit as well. Have a read back on the Rafa thread and see the posts from the Liverpool fans. They know the bloke better than us and it's clear that when they tell us about the man's character, he is a man of utmost integrity. Rafa would have been gone the minute we were relegated if he hadn't been assured he had cast iron control over every aspect of the club. Ok then. I'll sit on the fence a bit and see what happens. Fair play. Listen, I think this is the first time in a long time where we can put cynicism to one side and get behind the lads 100%.

  18. How is it choreographed? Do they count one Mississippi, two Mississippi in their heads? Does someone stand at the front and wave a flag when to do it? Knowing how fast our lot sing it'll just be oof-oof-oof-oof. They had a drum on the video I saw. Oh, fuck that then. Drums, trumpets etc should never be let into football grounds.
  19. That "OOF!" chant is immense. We should steal it for next season "TOON!"
