Bloody Socceroos. Great time to go into extra time
-
sounds like we are playing well then?
-
Im sure he would prefer a birthday clean sheet
-
Bar the goalkeeper, every member of their bench would waltz into our 11

Justice served Was it 300K for Kagawa? The manager of Borussia Dortmund deserves an award of some kind.

Horrible decision to send off the player by the ref. Both Yellows were poor decisions. Hope Japan get up for justice.

Getting nervous...
-
I Hope he is in no pain and can still shag but is from now on unable to play football
-
not sure if he would leave Germany but Trochowski is a great player

I'm sure everyone on the forum will recognise how good Viduka was before he signed here. But yes there aren't any Aussie players coming through that i would want here, besides Inman It's really hard to pick an Aussie squad when all our players are so old and will decline in that period at different paces.

It's questionable if we would have got promoted without the experienced players like Nolan and Barton holding everyone together Yeah Barton was a mainstay last season wasn't he. Was still around the squad. I don't think you appreciate how important older players are in bringing younger ones through.

Will be same again with Guthrie in for Smith. Doubt Guthrie can last 90 minutes against Tottenham's midfield, so i would expect Gosling to come in at some point

Really? i hadn't even heard of him until this season and he only signed for Everton in 2009. Some other European players that are out of contract and may be worth cheeky bid in January Urby Emmanuelson, Jonathan Reis, Ivan Rakitic, Piotr Trochowski, Ersan Gulum, Victor Vazquez,

List of Premier League players availiable on a bosman at the end of the season. http://www.goal.com/en/news/11/transfer-zone/2011/01/19/2310634/premier-league-bosman-list-all-the-players-available-for-free-in- Not sure how accurate this is but players that stick out as good signings that fit our blueprint. 1) Seamus Coleman in particular. Looked a great player this season and am shocked he is the last year of his contract. Can play right back or right mid and wouldn't be too much in wages. Would be an absolutely top signing. 2) Giles Barnes hasn't been injured for a while which is promising but it is questionable whether he can ever be a top player. Definitely worth a look in my opinion. Would have to be on a tight contract however. 3) Michael Kightly. would be worth a check by our medical team to see if there is anything that can be done to stop this run of injuries but probably not worth it. Would have to settle for reduced wages. There are also some older players entering the final years of their career that I believe would be worth an affordable contract that goes for a year or two. 1) Johan Elmander certainly hasn't shown any signs of aging as he is arguably having his best season in England. Struggled beforehand but it's hard to say whether his good season is down to finally adjusting to English football or just a lucky purple patch. May ask for too much money to be worth it. 2) Zolton Gera Can play anywhere in midfield and has kept in great shape. Would be a decent squad player imo who wouldn't ask for exorbitant wages. will be 32 at season end so you wouldn't want the contract going longer than two years at a maximum. 3) James Mcfadden Wasn't long ago that he was Birmingham's best player. Has some flexibility in that he can play on the wings or as a striker and is currently only 27. Hasn't done much this season which would be a worry.

Not sure he could handle the pass of the premier league tbh. Definitely my first choice DCM for Aus though and has been for some time. Good to see a youngish Aussie doing well at a time future prospects look pretty dull. Are you guys for real? Jedinak is rubbish - sure he's scored two goals on this tournament but frankly I'd rather Alan Smith for footballing skill. Who are your top two Aus CDM's then? btw i meant pace of the premier league haha. And yeah so would I and I don't know where I said otherwise If we're playing a 4-3-2-1 then it has to be Culina and Valeri (and yes, I know Culina is on the downhill slope, but he's still better than Jedinak). Even better would be Rhys Williams at RB and Wilkshire at CM (which is where he plays for Moscow). I was glad to see Kilkenny get some game time against Bahrain too... Our talent pool is so thin that we barely have a decent XI let alone a squad. Personally i'd have Jedinak and Wilkshire with Emerton moving to Right back. I find Valeri to be a very weak player and Culina struggles to pass forward.

Hope we get decent Facebook replacement. Pardew out if he doesn't like...

NUFC.com listed a "private source" when they listed the Taarabt rumour last year. Have been in the know before...
-
Surely we wouldn't loan out a first team player without getting someone in.
-
BTW Ka Joo Cheol has been a very impressive Asian based player.

A 10mill + bid for either of our young keepers would see one of them gone imo
