Why? It's been obvious to most for months and months that this is what the plan is. Barton is just saying it, nothing wrong with that. It really hasn't. There's no way the club is actively planning to sell Tiote and Krul. Obviously if Chelsea come in with a £40m bid we will probably sell, but the vast majority of clubs are in that position. I am worried about the contracts of the likes of Colo and Jonas though, as they must be on more than we're offering to new players. You and a few others must be living on a different planet if you think that's not the case. It's become quite clear that ANY player has a price on his head and it won't have to be a large amount (as shown by the Enrique departure). Ashley is happy to keep us in the PL while recovering of much money as possible. Barton probably has a better idea of what's happening than us, it's worth listening TBH

I remember Wraith from when he used to stand in the 'D' paddock with a few other lads, one in particular called Matty I think, used to do his bullying for him. All Felling boys if I remember from some of the grunts he replied with when I was unfortunate enough to try and communicate with him. They all used to fancy themselves as gangsters then as well. This was about 1991 ish. He was writing letters to whichever Kray brother was locked up at the time and had just had replies off him, he was star struck and fuckin shut up about it. He's always been desperate for celebrity status, right from when he wrote that pathetically shit fanzine no9 (I think), up until now. It made me laugh when he was appointed to that fans liaison role. Sorry for the recollections (I'm sure there is more in my head somewhere), it's just his aspiring cuntishness has always been there, he was a nasty piece of work then and still is now.

Utterances about age, money, contract length and not willing to compromise from club. Nolan denies and talks of fans knowing the truth. Enrique - Although this started a while ago, is posturing for a better deal, then sees the team being dismantled around him and probably wants out. Who can blame him. Victim of Pardews contracting offerings speech, which it turns out was the same contract offered to him before. Barton - Along the lines of Enrique, only decides to get more militant on twitter. Speaks about fans knowing the truth. Booted out, oh look the club source is quoting again. Not the clubs fault...... Other players such as Routledge talk about the truth and how the club is being run as well. I'm sure I've missed out a few links quotes etc that will back this up, but how ANYONE can believe the club is utterly beyond me. I don't blame Barton, I like his style and how he's gone about starting to expose them. As for this season, I reckon apart from this team becoming the best of mates in record time and hardly any injuries we're pretty much f***ed.
