So a wreckless challenge is something that is fine to miss. Laughable. The referee also had the best view in the house to look at it. Never said it was fine to miss but you seem to have no appreciation of the difficulties and challenges involved in refereeing a football game or any evidence to back up what you're talking about. To get paid around £100k a year for 90 mins work a week, I bloody expect them to get most decisions right. Also the referee's club when they back each other up despite making howlers every week is pathetic. He didn't miss them.

Refs were no better 20 years ago than they are now. I could name quite a few refs from the 80's and 90's who were shocking. I haven't minded Webb in the games he's done for us this season, in fact I thought he'd been quite good in some of them. Yesterday wasn't his best game, but he got the push for the 'goal' right and he applied common sense to Nolans dickhead like push. Yeah I moaned about the sub thing, but was it THAT big of a deal? To be fair to Nolan if the positions were reversed and it was me at Liverpool and NUFC were bthe buying club, I would have said go for it as well and been pleased about it. What i wouldn't have done is given THAT interview to NUFC tv, when they approached me I would have said 'no'. I would have thought that I would be rubbing peoples faces in it and not done it and kept my conversations private.
