He wouldnt be getting the service/quality around him as he does at Liverpool so IMO would be no where near as effective for us as he is for them..was awful in a poor quality team bar a few months at Southampton.
-
Another gutless performance and the players need to start taking some of the blame as well as SA
-
No, and dont think he should be. we may be having a awful run of results but IMO at worst he is gonna keep us mid table, and with no realistic options out there to replace him theres no point at all other than to make us look like kneejerk idiots.
-
i was taking the piss, however i can remembering some piss poor performances by Blackburn in Hughes first few months. and if playing good, intelligent, passing football gets you only 2-3 points more than we have managed then lets stick to the longball
-
If Blackburn fans were as fickle as us maybe Hughes would be fav to be sacked, 1 win in 5 and chelsea and Arsenal coming up in the next few games.
-
i cant see it happening, however it would make sense if betting, Top 4 aint gonna sack there manager,Redknapp,O'Niell, Moyes or Keane have no chance of being sacked, and Birmingham,Derby,Wigan,Spurs,Bolton all have new managers, so leaves you with very little, Southgate being most at Risk IMO
-
Looking at the training pics on Nufc.co.uk Martins could start in goal..
-
Nzogbia IMO has been at his best under big sam what ever position he has played, Seems everyones knocking big sam after a few poor results/decisions. Lets not forget its only 3-4 games since we were all talking about our best start to the season for 15(?) years.
-
Dont know if it was mentioned or shown on TV but big Sam was at the Liverpool game tonite. wonder who he was looking at? maybe enjoyed the way liverpool played so much on sat he went back for more..
-
one win in 5 for Blackburn, i take it we have crossed Mark Hughes of our list of saviours?
-
Seeing Aaron Lennons goal v Wigan just remind me how shite he is, When Lennon hit a shot from outside the area bramble jumped out the way to avoid him having to block the shot

The booing perspective - Joey Barton has his say on us...

Surely you mean 'moaned as he has come on the left wing and has to cut back onto his strong foot to even have a chance of performing'. I'm sorry mate, but the result on Saturday was (glaringly) obviously down to one man alone and his inability to pick a balanced team in a familiar formation, and use his substitutes wisely. Blind faith must be a wonderful skill to master, but also a very risky one. Iam not defending SA, iam saying we always think better is round the corner, who do we REALISTICALLY replace him with?, people calling for Mourinho are a joke. I can't answer that question, I don't know. All I know is that as things stand we are going nowhere. But if you haven't got a solution then all we'd be doing is change for changes sake and look where that's got us in the past. Maybe we should try a different approach this time and back the manager, give him reasonable time and "support" the team? You know, something crazy like that. Most people will argue, we gave Souness and Roeder time and look what that did, the huge diffrence is that SA will not take us down or leave us with a championship quality team..like the souness and roeder did -

Going no where just now, and hes made lots of mistakes, but iam sure he will get us a top half finish and hopefully learn from the last few weeks, i just think we should support him as theres no better options out there and the bloke is a proven good(not great) manager and unless we are sure of getting someone in a whole diffrent class to him theres no point or anything to gain sacking him. Iam in no way defending the last 4 games selections or performances. -

I was as dissapointed as anyone but our fans are a joke at the mo, in past weeks we have chanted for Martins to come off the bench, then moaned and groaned everytime hes missed a chance or lost the ball, chanted for Milner to come on then moaned as he has come on and dissapointed, Now we want rid of SA, so what we get rid and move onto the next saviour then piss and moan if he does not take us into top 4 within 10-15 games. -
I'd be fucking livid too. Cheeky twats. (If true) Do they really think Mourinho would be told to wait months to sort transfers out ? - iam starting to like Hicks and Gillett
-
Ok, let's get rid and bring in a translator. Joking aside, Mourinho is a one off although didn't Wenger start out as a school teacher or something? I'll stick with the coaching decision being baffling while acknowledging that it could turn out well. I don't see why its baffling at all but fair enough He holds a UEFA A Coaching Licence, hardly seems baffling...however the expectations on here of some people would no doubt have expected Mourinho to take over the reserves
-
What is this Rubbish about SA being found out? Clearly Moyes,Jol,Curbishly etc hadnt worked him out
-
You think we could get relegated? Have you seen the results the teams down there are getting? I'm just worried about who would replace him and looking like a fucking mong for thinking James Milner is our saviour. Really hope not to many other clubs fans read this board, our fans are embarrassing, Liverpool fans took this piss yesterday, egging us on to get on sams back then laffed at us when we took the bate.. 13 games in and we want the manager sacked, The likes of Moyes and Hughes had some horrible results in there eary days at Everton,Blackburn. Sam has made alot of mistakes lately yes there no denying that, but hes a good solid manager who is as good if not better than anyone else we can attract..
-
Sven said he wasnt intrested when asked by the press on SSN if the FA had contacted him
-
err dont think so , I am Mort (yes really)
-
if we are going to spend wads on players i want to see good football. chelsea under jose done it for about 4 month Mate we can play more boring football than we are now and win games under Mourinho! And yes he may hyave spent a wad of cash but lets not forget he did win the league twice as well as the FA and Carling Cups. He is in a different league of management to Allardyce. I know it's all about giving a manager time but if the oppurtunity arises to get Jose and Sam can go to where he wanted to be all along, there would not be a moment's hesitation in my mind! Cant belive people seriusly think Mourinho would come to us, itrs as likely as Kaka/Tevez/Rooney etc wanting to sign for us..
-
Your talking about him like he's a young player thats come from some poor league, the blokes played in france against powerfull strong types for years, Yes he may have had a few poor games and is undefendable for his performance v Portsmouth but he's clearly been the best defender we have had in years and sure he will bounce back and be the solid defender as we have all seen.

Bwahahaha! Thats fucking mental. Please tell me there is a scan of that diary on the internet somewhere! http://icbirmingham.icnetwork.co.uk/mail/news/tm_headline=football-club-s-inquiry-over-diary-blunder&method=full&objectid=18434823&siteid=50002-name_page.html
