Defence needs work on understanding yes, but thats a problem that can be sorted just by them playing together regular(although id put faye in for Rozenhal) its not a huge problem as theres quality in the whole defence. and its easy to say if we hadnt scored here and they had scored there so and so would have happened and we wouldnt have had 7 points from 9, but if your going to talk like that then had we took our chances in the last 2/3 games as well as the opposition we would still be on at leat 7 points from 9 and have a better goal diffrence. I think we need to look more at the positives than negatives.

I always ike to stay on and watch the lap of 'honor' if the seasons been good or bad, after the wolves game it was awful(missing out on champions league by a few points and a euro cup semi), forward a year and a bottom half finish with souness in charge and the players were pritty much cheered off the pitch was probley the most bizzare thing to happen, dont know if it was a case of we knew the likes of Robert were leaving and it was for them?

Have nothing against them for trying to sell there tickets off cheap but that advert is awful, surely even his own team mates are going to take the piss out of him!

As people said timing and lack of a quality replacement was the problem not so much that we failed without Robson, Wonder what Big Sam could have done with Robsons team, think we would have had a quality team with some of big sams defenders in, the likes of Faye,Cacapa, beye etc..

Have to agree, Robson is a great man and for a very short time in the clubs history did great things for the club, but i just dont think the club should name something after him or putting statues up etc.. We as fans all respect him and what he did for the club and i think if we do anything for him it should be direct from us as fans,raise cash for a gift of some kind to be picked up just before kick off when the stadium is full and show him what he means to us.. Some great ideas about a empty seat in his name etc, but think we should be putting these kind of ideas forward to be used at wembley where the whole of the country can respect him AFTER he passes away(lets not write him off just yet).

I think the problem was we just expected some great manager to want the job then ended up scrapping around with the likes of Steve Bruce and Souness, i would have liked to have seen what big sam could have done with the team sir bobby left, was a good strong squad with a weak defence, that team with the likes of Faye/Rozenhal etc in the defence could have done big things

We were in the game and put a decent performance in sat, V Liverpool we were never in it from the 1st kick.

for those odds i would have halfed the £25 on 1-1 and 0-0 cant see Celtic scoreing more than once if at all.
