  1. I've heard Jokanovic wants to go back to his family in Spain, which might well explain his allegedly ridiculous wage demands.
  2. If Watford are genuinely in talks with Quique Flores, then I'd be giving him some serious consideration.
  3. Exactly. Until he realises that the manager is the most important individual at the club and should be the number 1 priority when he talks about his "investment" we're on a hiding to nothing. Spending loads on quality players is completely negated by having a gormless c*** like Carver in the dugout working with them everyday. He simply doesn't understand. He's the type of bloke I'd imagine solves problems by throwing money at it and it doesn't quite work like that when it comes to running a football club. what always got me about Pardew and the 'transfer system' they have in place was that Pardew was always fighting against it as well...he was a somewhat competent manager (compared to say carver) but because he didn't believe in the system of being handed players he went out of his way to f***ing hamstring himself by either dropping them, playing them out of position, or forcing them out of the club....or all three then we get carver who will do what he's told so the system is irrelevant, he just happens to be utterly incompetent M'Biwa. Clearly never fancied him from the off and only played him when he absolutely had to. M'biwa didn't have the best of starts over here but there was no point in signing him if the manager was barely going to play him. Just need to get their heads together and talk it out. Then again it's all moot because under Ashley making a profit on players appears to be the main/only reason they come in at all. Until the needs of the team come before the needs of the balance sheet then we're all fighting a losing battle. Well, all of us apart from 1 individual... Except you can't generate profit if the players don't perform. Ashley's lost money on Santon, Yanga-Mbiwa and Ben Arfa, and probably stands to make further losses on Tiote, Gouffran and possibly Cisse. It honestly baffles me how Ashley continues to fatally undermine the importance of appointing a progressive, open-minded manager capable of working within the club's structures - it's essential, be it for getting results or generating profit off player sales
  4. Why do you think Anita was poor?
  5. He was decent today. Outshone by Anita obviously but was more positive on the ball than usual I thought.

That overhead kick looked pretty clean to me like. What about his 2 goals against Palace? I think he's alright. He's much more of a nuisance than Cisse and his link-up play is generally better, even if his finishing is pretty wank.
  7. He was all over Song like a fly around shit. Didn't give him an inch. Brilliant defensive display.

I thought he was pretty good today, that shocking miss aside. Much better than Cisse in any case.
  9. He wouldn't have come here anyway.
  10. And all the games they lost earlier in the season. Well yes, but they had a good run gong, a loss to Chelsea wasn't surprising. This situation could be negative if the players start thinking their manager has lost it. Tbf Pearson would probably murder anyone who questioned him, but this hasn't been helpful to the them Aye I agree, this particular flare-up was very strange bearing in mind how good they've been recently. Pearson is a near-lunatic mind, so anything's possible. Only just got round to watching this. The whole thing is really odd, really difficult viewing. It almost seemed as if Pearson had been on the sauce beforehand, just so aggressive and awkward for the sake of it.
  11. We have West Brom to play at home as well.

You'd think Ashley would be starting to panic with all that BPL money at stake. Short-term appointment for the last few games out of the question?
  13. Clearly old debate where Dinho thinks this proves him right. I don't agree whatsoever with him being the reason they're there. Contrs Juve was more convincing in the league than Allegris team. Besting Conte's domestic record would be near-impossible for any manager, let alone Allegri. Even then, he's 15 points clear, in the cup final and in the CL semis, and he's put his own stamp on an already-successful side by changing formation. Considering his relative unpopularity at the start of the season, he deserves a fair bit of credit for turning things around. It's all very well harping on about expectation and how Juve should've walked through to the semis but surely a bit of context is needed here; Conte's great domestic side never made it past the quarters and went out of the group stage last season. At the end of the day, you can only beat what's in front of you - the fact that Allegri's done that in the CL while continuing to dominate domestically is worthy of praise. They're very capable of beating Real imo.
  14. Such a s*** manager, that Allegri guy. I still don't think he's anything special. They've had a relatively easy way to the semi's playing teams that on paper are weaker than them and also playing Dortmund which was out of form. Vidal, Pogba, Tevez are absolutely top class and that's not down to Allegri. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...... Nothing to add I see, glad we agree then. Give Allegri his dues, Juve have had a terrific season so far. Dortmund were also on the back of 3 straight wins going into that tie.
