  1. Knew 3 draws and a Sunderland loss was unlikely
  2. Should have been in the team since he tore Everton apart in the 2nd half of that game.

    La Liga 2008/09

Best keeper in the world bar none.
  4. Think I'll be making the trip for this one. I'll be bold and say 3-1 us.
  5. Would take Benayoun in a flash. Could see him joining Redknapp at Spurs though.
  6. Thought this was a home game for some reason. Dreading this now.
  7. Got to go all out for the win IMO. Keep the form going, keep confidence up.
  8. Best deal ever he was wank tonight mackems.gif
  9. Won't be happy with anything less than 9 points from our next three, given what's been happening around us.
  10. There have been a lot of foreign manager disasters that I think have put many chairman off employing foreigners. There are only a few I would trust to manage Newcastle, as I think many wouldn't be able to handle the pressure in the way Robson did. Souness, Roeder Allardyce and Keegan have all eventually succumbed to the pressure of being manager of Newcastle. I would worry as to whether a foreigner could handle the pressure.
  11. Aye, just realised my own mistake there. Still he's got experience in English football and has worked his way up. Wouldn't shock me if Phil Brown was our manager at some point in the future.
  12. Tough game, will end a Draw I think. We'll be up for it, but won't quite have enough to beat them. Given Beye Taylor Coloccini Enrique Jonas Barton Guthrie Duff Martins Owen (If fit)
  13. Martinez is a good shout too, I feel it's better giving young English managers a shot, then bringing in a so called 'proven' foreigner who has never managed in the Premier League before.
  14. Wouldn't mind us giving a chance to a young English manager. Sean O'Driscoll from Doncaster would be ok I think.
  15. Loved the first half, totally in control we should have buried them by at least 4. I cannot understand why we drop so deep, especially against West Brom at home, there have got to be times when attack is the best form of defence. Beye and Duff were the best players on the pitch today.
  16. He slipped, if he had kept his footing Miller wouldn't have scored. Lot of slipping and scruffing of shots from both sides today, now that I think of it. Problem with pitch conditions? Wouldn't shock me, given our history with pitch conditions.
  17. He slipped, if he had kept his footing Miller wouldn't have scored.

    Just looked it up
  19. Even if it is from NUFC blog, that Xu Rongmao link sounds good. Chinese money would be the safest bet in the current economic climate.
  20. I'm not worried, if he plays he'll tear them apart.
  21. Completely baffled me when he was brought on, no pace upfront then, put us on the backfoot.

    Sebastien Bassong

Solid as usual, looking like a great signing so far.
  23. I'd cream if we got taken over by someone from China, or Ambani for that matter.
