I'm not sure how Mr. Vuckic can question why brummie posts on here when he never actually celebrated our demise in the first place. What's his crime? Supporting the same club as them people with the banners? Being there on the day? Bloody hell man, I haven't a clue what he's going on about, but it's totally uncalled for and he is making himself look pretty silly.

Fucking hell lads, two banners, probably accounting for less than 0.1% of the fans present that day. Why have a go at brummie, and why have a go at Villa? You get knackers like that at every club, it doesn't mean they're all the same ffs. Have a word, man. Imagine if someone read everything NE5 ever wrote, and then assumed every Newcastle fan in the world was like that. It's pretty much the same.

Why wasn't Arteta taking the pen? Yakubu has a very patchy history of penalties.

Crap salad and fish burger no-one buys got me like. Good work.

Attendance will probably be a bumper 11,000.

Yep. Good post.

So typical of Heskey that.

Agree, fantastic book.

Back at McDons.

Games Goals Assists 27 4 9 Can't really argue with that like.

Agree, as I said ideally we'll not have to start either of the two frequently - if I had to pick though, it would be Nolan.

Do you think they've improved? I still think he's been poor but seems to be a bit more full of running lately. I think it would be hard not to improve on Swansea away which was an utterly abject performance. I think as you say, he's looked more energetic and he's used the ball a lot better. He also now seems to win more 50/50 tackles than he ever used to. He's still woefully one-paced and often fades from the game for periods of time, but these last few games he's picked up. He's also managed to score a few goals which will do his confidence no harm. Still vital mind that him or Smith aren't starting if we get promoted. Ideally neither would be starting more than 10-15 games next season, but if one of them had to I'd choose Nolan over Smith. Nolan the CM has held his own in the Premier League far longer than Smith the CM.

He's got that bit spot on like.

Must say as well, he's backed Nolan and we've seen improved (although not amazing) performances and him rediscover his scoring touch.
-
Against Premier League rules, but we're not in the Premier League so it's alreet.

Was sad to see him come off after barely half an hour, but the performance of Kadar in his place yesterday was excellent. He's a very skilful, tidy player, and whilst not as attacking as Jose is, he's got a good eye for a pass and just seems incredibly composed for one so young.

Nothing wrong at all with that tackle from Fox, if Ramsey hadn't been done last week that wouldn't have even made the frigging highlights.
-
Aye, very good today but I'm still fairly sure we should bin him in the summer. If we are going to keep him then it'll have to be another 1 year deal, who knows, maybe we'll appreciate the squad depth?
