Yeah, the Monday night performance has made me settle down a bit, whereas before the last 4 or 5 games I've been sh*tting bricks and worrying about who will start and whether or not we'll get any points etc. I feel more confident about this game.

7 dropped will probably be: Wheater, Upson, Defoe, Walcott, Jenas, Johnson, Downing You heard it here first.

I think i'd prefer the 4-2 tbh. We're always going to leak goals this season, there's not going to be any massive improvement there, but we need proof that we can tonk a load in at the other end. That's frittered out since October time, where we were frequently scoring three at home. How about a compromise? We win 4-0...?

Still no Robert Green either I see.

A vote for Habib Beye? Getting rid of our only decent and consistent performer sounds like a sterling idea to me!

If this is the case, good luck and goodbye to a dedicated, if limited professional.

In terms of what these players delivered on the pitch: Shearer by a mile. In terms of what these players did for team morale and in the dressing room: Kilcline.

That free kick against the people from up the road? Is that why Luque never got any stick? [/sarcasm] Luque's goal didn't win the game, did it?

I'd rather we won this game 1-0 than say, 4-2. A clean sheet will instill confidence in our back four again, which is what they need. Every time the ball comes near the 18 yard box, its like watching a bunch of kids trying to hack away a penny floater on a windy day.

Oba Martins may be scary, but when he holds me in his arms, I feel safe...

That isn't Edgar he's with is it?
-
Play Scholes every home game, he guarantees you goals Certainly if he's playing at our home ground anyway.

Which knobhead voted for Tim Krul? There's no way that a young lad who has had a successful loan spell and made an outstanding debut should leave the club ahead of Carr, Smith, Ramage, Ameobi et al. Baffling.

Pattison was useful, to an extent. That is, the sight of his gormless ginger shape sat on the bench was a useful reminder of how shockingly thin we were in midfield. Bringing Pattison on however seriously fattened that midfield up.

yes if they think like this they start Keller brilliant thought it was Hey, Hodgson dropped Niemi for Keller recently. Niemi is 'out of favour' despite several quite brilliant displays. I'm not complaing myself, however.

Hell yeah. Thing is, if we scored first against Brum we'd have been gutted, but we showed great spirit and a much better style of play in the second half - showing fight that we didn't think we had in us. So aye, bring on Fulham... not a guaranteed win but couldn't pick a much better fixture at this point. 1st time in a long time i'm looking forward to a game. me too! and it's on the telly here in the USA! huzzah! Fulham are playing live at St. James Park... The All-American Rejects

I hope that Fulham play Keller in nets, he's much more liable to make mistakes than Niemi is.

If it gives him a Michael Owen of an injury, go for it

Yeah, remember people saying that before Derby away. Hope your right though. If we get one early, it may definatley be the case.
