Sinking the best part of £100m into Rooney, Klaassen and Sigurdsson who all play in the same position and are all completely devoid of pace was sheer lunacy. Pickford and Keane were both horrible overspends and Ramirez can barely make the bench. I think Vlasic will turn out to be a good buy mind. Says it all that the academy players are getting in the side ahead of most of these players; the side is so lacking in energy and pace it's crazy. Davies in particular looks like he'll be some player, but it's a bit soon for him. Read the same for Calvert-Lewin, Kenny and Holgate. Their best young player is probably Lookman and he barely gets a kick.
