Dummett shouldn't be dropped after a clean sheet performance, like. The shirt is his and should remain his until the end of the season IMO, unless he has an absolute stinker of a game. He's gradually improving.
It's one of those things that I thought that just idiots said, but it's true: the big clubs get away with whatever they want.
Becoming more and more obvious each season; the FA just loves to shit on anyone who isn't in the CL/title race.
I don't agree with abolishing the loan system, cos it does have benefits, but they need to change summat to prevent Chelsea doing that like. 27 players out on loan is fucking mad, that's like our entire first team squad and then some ffs.
Not sure I would describe Shola as a beast. Didn't he only score about 10?
He scored a goal pretty much every game and a half. If he'd stayed fit the whole season he'd have hit 20 IMO.
I already acknowledged that he was excellent in 2004. Not so sure if I think he was decent in 2012. It was certainly his 'least bad' tournament since Euro 2004, I'll say that.
Stoppage time goals from Papiss:
Chelsea (a) 11/12
WBA (h) 12/13
Anhzi (h) 12/13
Fulham (h) 12/13
Stoke (h) 12/13
Crystal Palace (h) 13/14
Quite a few there, and all winners bar the Chelsea screamer.
He's a strange player in that his all-round game often appears to be crap and his touch useless, and yet if you look at the chances/goals he's involved in a lot of them or sets up chances.
Almost like a 'highlights reel' player.
Very solid defensively again, IMO.
First half an hour he must have booted the ball down the line about ten times, and then seemed to cut it out after that. He's gradually finding his feet.
Felt like towards the end of the game it was going to be either him or Ben Arfa who made something happen. There was a fair few times he surged towards the box and nipped past his marker but was surrounded by either Palace defenders or slack-jawed teammates standing with a finger up their arse.
