He was basically on the 18 yard line for one of them, virtually unchallenged apart from one of Woltemade's trademark 5ft7 jumps for the ball.
-
I want this prick nowhere near the side and gone ASAP. If he can't be arsed to try a leg unless there's Champions League music ringing in his ears he can get to fuck and take his shit Scouse haircut back to the Wirral pronto.
-
I'm sure there's faster and less talented wingers than Bobb that we'll be wanting soon as we've got money to spend.
-
Has his mate got a pair of boots? I don't know the fella but I'd bet he could offer more physical threat if nowt else on Wednesday.
-
Imagine digging in away from home and rescuing a point eh.
-
They wanted it more than us on the day for sure. Our midfield and front three would have needed a large print copy of the OED to understand what a second ball was today.
-
At least he only cost a few million quid...
-
I don't think he would take it either but it might well suit him. Months on end between games to think about how he might approach them is probably more his pace than three games a week. I don't mean that in a flippant way, btw. One game a week and he looks like a top ten manager in the world. Three a week and he's struggling.
-
What's pissing me off the most lately is him saying he/we will learn and then blatantly not learning. Same shit over and over away from home.
-
Matched the team and the manager, then.
-
If he genuinely thinks that, he's on smack. I can remember one decent Bruno ball to Murphy second half that was half a yard heavy and absolutely nothing else you could stick in the column marked "creativity".
-
Is anyone else not bored of us being mediocre to crap for four months of every season? I'm not sure I can stick another one of these where it takes til late December/January for us to play well in more than a couple of games. It's not even a guarantee we'll do that this year, that todaywas the absolute pits and arguably the shittest of the lot and 2026 is a couple of games away.
-
Shame we lost him today, a proper leader and may have inspired the rest of the sackless wonders onto more second half.
-
I've just been for a piss and I think you're being harsh. To my piss.
-
Not really. The manager clearly favours pace, height and strength over being able to kick a ball. It's taken us to some great places but is now coming unstuck and looks woefully short without a plan B.
-
Fair enough and point taken. Wasn't meant in a homophobic way and if it came across that way I genuinely apologise. His fixation with playing Gordon after him letting us down time and again is hurting us, however. The point does remain.
-
It's not meant to be ultra-derogatory but he seems immune to poor performances and trusted as a key player despite delivering fuck all outside of Europe in a calendar year. Barnes not starting today was a disgraceful call IMO.
-
Doesn't matter when he's got the touch of a Sunday morning player and misplaces short passes on the reg. Anyway, on the rare occasions he's managed to cross a ball he tends to smash them miles past the danger zone anyway. He's absolutely chod.
-
Crap on the day, even OG aside. Ran into the ground which isn't all his or Eddie's fault.
-
Should tell this thick bastard that every game is a CL game and he might find some form
-
Genuinely don't have the words to describe how shit this guy is.
-
He is. Everton and Belgian farmers aside we've been absolutely dog shit away from home all season.
-
I want to make it very clear by the way - it's not the result today, it's the nature of the performance. If that was any other manager in our history, there'd be knives out in a big way. Yes, Eddie won the cup and has been brilliant for us and therefore is rightly awarded a level of understanding way ahead of those other managers. But that shit today cuts right though it IMO, especially with the other away day shit shows we've endured this season.
-
Played his bum boy Gordon despite his league form being a disgrace for a full calendar year, spent £55m on a Sunday morning player and £45m on a lad who can't get off the bench. Not good enough.
