  1. All CL teams to score All Championship teams to score £1 on each.
  2. Doesn't sound like it's dead to me. I reckon we'll see if we can get him for the same price in January.
  3. One of those shitty facebook NUFC pages has just posted an article with quotes from Pards saying he'll consider an appeal. Hope so.
  4. Harper Simpson Coloccini Williamson Ferguson Anita Bigirimana Jonas Obertan Shola Sammy

He did well, gutted he's injured.
  6. I'm honestly not being a prick or anything, but explain that would you? Suarez gave Colo a tough time today Yeah, I agree with Disco. He was poor. I didn't think it was his best game but I certainly wouldn't have said he played a 4/10 game, I think that's way harsh.

  8. Upped his game from last week's shithouse display and reacted well to initially being 19th man. Well done.

Too simplistic a view and very small minded. We said the same shit about Souness when we were beating Southampton away FFS. Credit to Pardew for playing 4-3-3 and picking arguably the right players but all that good work was undone by his negative tactics and game plan. Instead of celebrating a point (big fucking deal), we could have been celebrating a win, a good win, a win that could have done wonders for our season. Instead the players will continue to feel frustrated and hamstring by the tactics and gameplan and no doubt the formation net time which will probably go back to 4-4-2. what a load of shit, at least you didn't write ten pages of it as usual though. You might well have said that about a win away at Southampton, but I'm talking about us playing away at Liverpool; a fixture where we've routinely capitulated and played like a bunch of wankers. Today we performed excellently, particularly in defence, and came away with a very well earned point. Winning the game would have been fantastic but I personally have no issue with Pardew's selections or subs today whatsoever. I'm proud of the lads and I'm pleased Pardew chose the team that he did, particularly selecting Anita at RB and dropping Simpson. If you're going to be negative about what happened today then fuck me, you might as well get yourself a length of rope now and end it all, you utter bore. We were much better after Simpson came on tbh. Whilst I thought Simpson did alright today, I think that was more to do with us weathering the initial storm from Liverpool who had their tails up during the opening exchanges. I will admit Anita did well in midfield, but I thought he was doing fine at RB apart from that initial free-kick he gave away early doors.

No matter how you look at today: we played the 4-3-3 we've all been craving and got our first points at Anfield in fucking ages. It went well, all the negative posters can suck my dick.
  12. Dunno what Pards has said post-match but him and JC didn't look happy when they spoke to the ref at FT and I hope we appeal it. It was a foul, nothing more and never a red card in a million years. Sick to death of getting shit decisions like this, they're stopping our best players all featuring together and costing us points and that. All very well having a 'Respect' campaign, but I couldn't respect any of the PL refs one iota seeing as they give such shit decisions. I really do hate how referees are exempt from criticism because they do a hard job; any other hard job you'd be sacked for doing such a constantly crap job.

Haven't read anything that has been stated today but personally I thought we were excellent today. Liverpool were always going to dominate the opening 10 or 15 because of the Stevie G trophy and home advantage etc, but after that I was very impressed with us and it was as good a performance as we've posted this season, certainly away from home and probably overall, with maybe the exception of the Bordeaux game.
  14. Ah right, that's a bit shit then. Pleasing that he was initially banished from the 18 after last week's shit performance, though.
  15. People saying Sky would be guessing; they managed to correctly predict that incredibly weird setup from the Norwich home game last season where we started with Gutierrez at LB, Perch in midfield and Cabaye on the left. Fingers crossed they're right this time too.
  16. Personnel is about right, depends how we line up. Hopefully Cisse will play where Shola did last week and it'll be the same formation.
  17. Games like today he should be one of the first names on the teamsheet. It pisses me off to see him starting at home against the also-ran teams/relegation fodder, though.
  18. Perch's performance against Suarez last season at SJP was absolutely masterful and I'd fancy him to replicate it, certainly more than Williamson.

He didn't sound convincing in that MOTD interview when he said they'd battle through it. I think he'll resign soon.

Had been on the bar and unable to see the TV for most of my shift at work today, until I went glass collecting and three lads wearing Villa shirts nearly knocked me over jumping and celebrating as Gabby scored. They apologised and I said "nar lads it's fine, as long as you beat the mackems!" and they all laughed.
