After Blackburn scored, quite a few players' movement became static and few of them showed for the ball - Abeid wasn't one of them though. He was coming deep to get it because we had statues on the wings.

He hit one of the worst shots I've ever seen early doors. Overall, I was impressed. He got around the pitch and did the simple things very well. Certainly can't remember him missing any passes.

Credit to Pards for realising fairly early that our right side was the glaring weakness. We looked light years better when he replaced Obertan and Simpson; it also freed Gutierrez and Santon up because they were getting all of the ball before Pards hooked the two clowns who started for us on the opposite side.

Had a look around the Stadium Plan on the site last night; still absolutely fuckloads of seats available. Hope it fills up a bit. You'd think that Wednesday night's performance might draw another couple of k in. I would say 27,000-30,000 which is pretty s*** for a Saturday 3pm KO and pretty cheap tickets. Is £20 that cheap? 30k or over would be a decent turn-out. Relatively for an adult. I got a £10 student ticket and most kids tickets are £5. I've not seen that advertised anywhere, can you get the £10 student tickets on the cash turnstiles or...?
