  1. In-play this season, waiting till 55-60 minutes and sticking money on the team at the longest odds if it's still a draw has been a very good tactic. In Spanish games especially - the away side winning 0-1 with a late-ish goal is dead common.
  2. Agree with Jonny, like. My dad's tactic this season is going down the short priced favourites list, particularly in South American games, and sticking £1 on ten different underdogs as long as the odds are 6-7/1 or better... he only needs one to get most of that back and two to be in profit. One week I think he got about six winners out of ten.
  3. The way this season has gone I feel it necessary to throw a token £1 on the two improbables and 50p on the impossible. Two draws combined with three more draws tomorrow night in the Europa is also roughly 415/1. Surely that's worth even a few pence.
  4. Inter to qualify £1 Spurs to qualify £1 the double 50p
  5. What's Nolito like? Never heard of him. /shearer

Women's football: It's a bit like Danny Baker's goals and gaffes
  7. They had that photo plastered all over the Metro for ages.
  8. He's terrible for going LOVENKRAAAANDS! oh........ it's wide.
  9. Schalke/Inter draw, Spurs/Madrid draw, Spartak/Porto draw, PSV/Benfica draw, Twente/Villareal draw 25p wins £96.91
  10. I think Park and Hernandez are the only likeable Man United players. Possibly also van der Sar.
  11. Ended up going for £1 on HT draw FT Man Utd and £1 on Park anytime at Will Hill, so £6 return from Park's goal. No return on my accumulators, shit night for that kind of thing.
  12. Eastbourne Borough are shite as well, best of luck to Gateshead and hopefully a goal glut for those who choose to go along.
  13. 15 points less than Wolves for "Respecting Opponents"? What a fucking bogus table
  14. Also gonna go Man Utd -1 @ 7/2 with Will Hill. Also like the look of Park Ji-Sung anytime at 5/1 but I'll wait for the lineups first, I think.
  15. QPR, Bury, Leicester, Scunthorpe Celtic, Southampton, Hull Hull are 4/1 away at Swansea, despite their amazing away record
  16. It'll be Monday we hear reports that he's 50/50 and there'll be no sign of him in the 18 come Tuesday.

Now we know the real reason Venky's sacked Fat Sam - he refused to play in nets for the stiffs.

    Alan Pardew

Its a fair point to raise though. Injuries have been a lot harsher on Pardew than Hughton. Hughton's performance in the transfer window last January was outstanding. He also kept his players fit via clearly good training over more games but I know he's not allowed to take credit for any of this. Pardew's January was appalling and casts a very deep dark shadow over next season imo. I think the summer is going to be devastating for all of us. I can see why you think that, absolutely, but it's worth pointing out that the January window and the summer window are completely different. Aye, more chance to sell off key players. Pardew's remit. I really try not to follow the posters who constantly label you as boring, negative and repetitive, I really do. You're not making it easy, though. You hate the current regime, they're shit, we all get it. This constant doom mongering (usually after a poor performance or result) has gone on long enough; when we sell off the entire squad in the summer and replace them with League 2 players on the cheap I'm sure you'll be the first to log on and say you were right.

  21. £5 on Manchester City @ 15/8 For tomorrow night I've three favourites (Bury, Brighton and Leicester) along with Scunthorpe who are 4/1 at home. £1.50 on that brings home near £20 I think.
  22. £14m for Defoe what an absolutely gash article.
