The general media predictions have been shocking, like. I'd expect us to be 4th/5th even if it's just Guehi coming in - no way do Villa maintain last season, there are new Liverpool/Chelsea managers + ten Hag still exists.

Could maybe stretch from £55m + £5m to a flat out £60m but even that's on the border of acceptability. Then again, if the alternative is only Thiaw, maybe it's worth pushing with Guehi.

Fee was a bit mad but I've lost all faith in this club pulling off a decent summer. Buzz well and truly killed.

Don't like the red/blue one at all. The 95/96 one was about the collar, Brown Ale and having it be not-quite-white. This just looks half-arsed.

This season's pricing is making managers think a lot more about covering certain teams. Odegaard is now a decent amount less than Saka Foden is still below Haaland Nkunku a £6.5m midfielder compared to Palmer Isak £8.5m v Gordon £7.5m is an interesting one.
