You say hope, but what's the benefit in avoiding relegation ?
We won't always come straight back up as champions. At some point, we'll stay down for a few years.
As someone who purposely avoided our match because I'm sick of wasting time on these pieces of shit, the score doesn't seem as bad alongside Fulham's.
I'm sure the match was horrific and we don't seem able to score ANY GOAL AT ALL, but Fulham are a defensive sieve.
Annoyed about Robertson not playing but it means I can play both Yedlin and Bennett, rather than make the wrong choice.
Salah captain, Maddison in for Kenedy (even though I'm not that convinced by Maddison). Expect a Kenedy goal.
I lost because of Mesut bloody Ozil. The definition of bad luck
Also, Mane didn't play, the re-signed De Bruyne only came off the bench and Murray went off with his concussion. Just a bad week.
I don't think you can ever complain if somebody scores.
It just seems to be a regular event when City maul someone 4 or 5-0 and Aguero only scores one, no bonuses. So it still feels disappointing.
