  1. That's why I was into meltdown after last weekend - if Brighton didn't beat Swansea, they'd be looking good for relegation. But now they don't need much.
  2. Yeah my plan was to wildcard around GW32 or GW33, just in time for the double gameweeks. But then my squad is horrific (Walcott, Choupo-Moting, Wilson, Ogbonna etc) and could really do with refurbishment. Most of that planned wildcard team have good games now, so thinking of pulling a maverick move here.
  3. Wenger's completely ruined his legacy, like. It's hilarious.
  4. I don't see how Totally Football Show differs from Guardian Football Weekly, which is what was claimed at first. Meant to be creative with some new ideas..... it's still just talking about football. I listen to it every week though purely because of the personnel.

Hmmm only 2 points distributed tonight, that's annoying.
  6. Heard an idea once where 31 teams qualify for the World Cup and the 32nd is a 'best of the rest' selection. No chance after the expansion though.

If each scenario is roughly the same, I'd rather Barnsley win tonight because they're probably worse and more likely to go down. So let's get them a few points clear.
  8. Still should have got at least a draw. These games are adding up, unfortunately.
  9. Not a huge deal, although he had that one good game against Man Utd.
  10. They'd Superbowl it and add music, celebrities etc. We'll all hate it therefore it'll probably happen.
  11. Favourites are George Caulkin, Tim Vickery, James Richardson, Mina Rzouki, James Horncastle, Daniel Storey.
  12. Now it's roughly 28pts after 28 games, so we're probably looking at 38 after 38.
  13. Brighton's are hideous but they go into them on 31pts, thanks to Saturday. Southampton and Stoke have poor runs. Swansea and Huddersfield have it easier, as do Palace in a few weeks.
  14. Football throws up the weirdest shocks and the Premier League has the strangest scores. But not here, not this Liverpool. A modest 2-0 defeat for us and a chance for us to learn how not to throw that lead away.
  15. I keep reminding myself that we have Rafa Benitez, Jamaal Lascelles and finally a team that tries bloody hard. But certainly don't see 41pts, so it'll be extremely close.
  16. Always love watching Arsenal suffer. It's a hobby.
  17. Fair enough I'm just in disbelief at how chilled this place (THIS PLACE?!?!) is about yesterday. All this 'well I'd have taken a draw beforehand' when we threw away a comfortable 2-0 lead, followed by being ok with Brighton & Huddersfield winning. Everyone's so calm, I don't get it
  18. No idea how you think that, like. Swansea were battered, WBA lost, Southampton drew, Stoke drew. It could have been way, way worse. Swansea were battered..... by Brighton. WBA to Huddersfield. Southampton & Stoke's draws were decent points at Burnley & Leicester. Technically it could've been worse but not really. We lost ground on two teams. It's been fine. Are people seriously seeing yesterday's results as a good day? It's about rooting teams to the bottom, not everyone staying within 3 points of each other. Especially when Brighton & Huddersfield were most likely to go down. Maybe not 'good', but three of the five clubs below us lost and the other two drew like we did. How's that disgusting? Depends who you think will get out of it. Personally thought Brighton & Huddersfield were more likely to go down than Palace & Swansea, so seeing the former both win is bad.

  21. Had a few really bad weeks of late, this one is hideous. Dunk own goal, blanks for Wilson, Walcott and Choupo-Moting. Of course Kane is captain too. Can only be saved by Man Utd 0-0 Chelsea.
  22. Arsenal have lost away to Stoke, Swansea, Bournemouth and Watford. They love it.
  23. Because Arsenal and Chelsea are going out of their way to lose silly away games and, if we turn up like the Man Utd game, Arsenal are there to be beaten. Especially if distracted by Europa League. But yeah, I'm more confident in us away from home but our next two on the road are Liverpool and Spurs. Not good.
