  1. So THAT'S why Giggs is being linked with every vacancy. I now understand his entitlement.
  2. 17-year-old from Switzerland Kenedy Seydou Doumbia Get the bath running.
  3. At one point, Southampton have 4 away games in a row, although 3 of them are to us, Swansea and West Ham. In fact they only have 7 home games left and that includes Spurs, Liverpool, Chelsea and Man City.
  4. No cash windfall isn't no cash at all. And a small budget is no worse than we're expecting, really.
  5. If I could choose a time to take this inevitable defeat, I'd pick a date where there's one week to go in the transfer window. Say we lose 4-0 and there's still no takeover. Would that force Ashley into releasing funds?
  6. Paddy Power have just paid out on Stoke's relegation
  7. Not bothered about Kenedy himself, but the situation we're in is horrific.
  8. For the record it had West Brom 19th (31pts), Stoke 18th (35pts), Huddersfield 17th (36pts), with us above on goal difference.
  9. All he has to do is get Stoke up to their normal level, as their squad should be doing better. If they don't get 4 points from Huddersfield (h) and Watford (h) double-header, it doesn't look good for them.
  10. Just did a predictor and had us 16th with 36pts. On the final day, ourselves, Brighton, Huddersfield, Southampton and Watford are against the 'Big 6'.
  11. Martin O'Neill has rejected Stoke too. Ouch.
  12. I really wanted Man City to go unbeaten
  13. To be honest I'd be shocked if anyone other than Swansea, West Brom, Stoke, Newcastle, Brighton or Huddersfield went down. Palace and West Ham are well on their way to survival, Southampton were surprisingly down there and Bournemouth just have a habit of getting wins - they're canny. I can see Brighton dropping.
  14. It wouldn't feel right if Sanchez went to Man Utd. The better option - by far, surely - is Man City.
  15. Our keepers do several mistakes but our defence is generally ok with Lascelles. Going forward is a nightmare, however, so I get why our top 2 priorities are further up.
  16. Ritchie is a waste of a shirt, really. He only offered set pieces and they've gone to shit. He dramatically slows down our attacks... what's the point?
  17. Dynamic performance from Ritchie, sensible ball distribution from Shelvey, efficiency from Joselu & good substitutions from Rafa. Or not. 3-0 defeat.
  18. Because of today, we need to win one of Burnley (h) and Palace (a). Highly doubt it'll be the latter. Fuck.
  19. 60 for me, thanks to Kane ©, Arnautovic and Alonso. The green arrows continue, with De Gea, Salah, Otamendi and Sterling left.
  20. The amount of stray passes from them was hideous. Imagine not being able to beat them.
  21. Glad Rafa kept him on, otherwise who else would take shite set pieces?
