Agreed. I thought Palace would probably stay up until seeing their games. Whilst there are 2 or 3 winnable games, they'll need 11-12 points and it's a tough run-in.
Can't believe I said 10 last week
Unless we win the next three games, we're throwing this away. Huddersfield & Brighton have already gained 5pts on us since last Saturday.
8pt hit to get Mane, King (missed penalty but 2 goals) and Llorente (went off injured).
Brunt randomly dropped, Baines off at half time, NUFC 2-0 down.... magic
Still can't believe we both attracted Rafa Benitez, then convinced him to stay. He's mostly done a good job, although I'm still worried he'll walk away like Keegan always did. But Rafa's quotes are soaked with love and admiration for the fans and city - he's humbled by it all - and I think that'll play in part in any temptations to quit.
Let's celebrate with an important win today
I stick to the 2 points-per-game target, so finishing on 92pts after 46.
We're 15 points away with 10 games to go. A modest 4 wins, 3 draws, 3 defeats and we'd still reach it.
Maybe Brighton or Huddersfield will top that, but both?
Their league campaigns are so predictable, their annual failures are so predictable, their players choking on the big stage is so predictable, the banners are so predictable. Their wheels have been spinning for a while now and Wenger doesn't help himself. As a neutral it's just so boring. I totally get why they want him to leave.
