I have plenty of unpopular opinions but only two come to mind right now:
1) Milner was a fantastic player for us. Was gutted when we sold him.
2) We shouldn't have sacked Allardyce.
All Everton's signings do is add depth, I dont see Alcaraz or Joel improving them. As for Villa/Liverpool, its been good in that they've added decent players whilst not yet losing Benteke/Suarez. Bony is a cracking signing at Swansea.
The only ones that have had really good summers so far are Norwich, Aston Villa, Liverpool and Spurs.
Swansea's has been ok but Sunderland's is quantity over quality, whilst losing their best 2 players.
Despite everything this club puts us through, it still fills me with pride that Sir Bobby managed us and that he's one of us. You can never take those memories away. A great man who'll always be missed.
RIP
It really won't This time last year he was about to debut for Dagenham & Redbridge. Exactly what you want for a PL campaign.
He'll score against us, of course.
