  1. I think that's the one and only clue right now - they keep typing these not so subtle tweets and have no reason to wind us up. So something is in the pipeline. Big question for a while has been whether relegation kills the deal.
  2. All Fulham need to do is be within 3 points of us going into final day. They're currently succeeding.
  3. If Fulham don't beat Wolves next weekend, I think the tide has turned our way again. Somehow.
  4. FFS. No point ever getting excited about anything in this stupid sport.
  5. Yeah. If we play that well - the best in ages - and still don't win, then how the hell do we win?
  6. I'm covering this match too. Fuck this
  7. Not sure if it's been posted but a guy from ESPN ranked the 98 teams from the 'Big Five' leagues in terms of watchability. We came 97th https://www.espn.com/soccer/blog-espn-fc-united/story/4350296/bayernbarcelona-are-fun-man-united-over-man-city-who-tops-our-watchability-power-rankings
  8. Good thing Roy Keane isn't in an ambassadorial role there
  9. Maybe if a Coutinho buyer miraculously shows up and Messi decides to leave. Maybe.
  10. Kane will break Shearer's PL record but Al did have some pre-Prem too.
  11. No, I think the takeover will eventually happen if we survive and this is a huge sliding doors moment for the club.
  12. It's a strange one because we'd be both losing a good player, yet not really worsening the team. Because of Bruce, we've hardly seen Miggy play like he can. Wasted potential.
  13. Yeah, I think Ashley naively believes there's a sale whichever division we're in. Maybe he's been told that in conversation. But he'll get a shock once we go down and PIF re-negotiate.
  14. I'm loving the break - anything that stops football is fine by me. I'd be excited for the summer but those bloody Euros are on.
  15. I'd assume ASM, Almiron, Wilson and Dubravka would go, with the rest mostly staying. It'd be a strong Championship side but it should never have come to this. But Watford managed to keep Sarr, Norwich still have Buendia and Aarons etc. Maybe one would stay.
  16. Whilst I lose half the value of the club by doing so. Sorry not buying that spin. We don't know if agreements have been signed, promises made etc
  17. I understand why not sacking Bruce adds to the 'no takeover' narrative but I still think it can be spun as "I'm about to leave (post-arbitration) so I don't give a shit about relegation or Bruce".

    Graeme Jones

So Ashley doesn't want to pay off Bruce when he thinks it'll soon be the new owners' problem, his only move was to hire Jones to force the resignation. It didn't work, Bruce won't leave and nobody blinks first until we've drowned.
  19. Awful news to wake up to. It's becoming clearer and clearer that Ashley and Bruce are getting relegated on purpose. No idea why but I've never seen this before.
  20. To be honest, I think tonight has ended it for him. But it's too late.
  21. Bad luck with injuries, the game hinged on Fraser hitting the post and the Notting Hill Carnival.
  22. Just have to hope Brighton get it to 5-0. Some unignorable statement of a score.
  23. Never had us down to get anything from this match because Brighton are far better. But the manner continues to be disturbing. We're not laying a glove on anybody.... genuinely no idea what a goal is.
  24. Replacing Darlow, Lewis & Krafth with Dubravka, Dummett & Manquillo gives me more confidence in our defence. Add Willock to a recovered ASM-Wilson-Almiron and there'll be a good team.
