  1. 45mins of the derby, if we're lucky.

I think even Aston Villa will finish above these lot, with a 16th-17th combo. They have nothing to be optimistic about for next season though.
  3. Home games against left against Fulham, Mackems, Liverpool and Arsenal. Lot of pressure on that Fulham game (as there was earlier in the season in our home matches against Wigan and QPR). It's the one that is sandwiched between our quarter-final legs too, sadly. Man City, QPR, West Brom and West Ham away. I reckon we'll get an away win, plus 5pts at home. A very realistic scenario, which puts us on 41 and finishing 13th/14th.
  4. Disappointed in Keys' comments, I'm normally a fan. Everything about the incident sickens me.
  5. Take away Halsey's last minute mess up, we've essentially drawn that game. An improvement on normal. Our attacking play is so predictable though, I think I've turned against having one up front - we rarely look a threat.
  6. Sunderland are very much in it, without doubt. Having said that, I think the three to go are QPR, Reading and Wigan. I wasn't impressed with Wigan today.
  7. Unfortunately, you're probably right. Yet the FA complain about not showing referees respect, when today showed exactly why they don't deserve it. Just seen the mackems' ref and the Fellaini handball too - insane decisions. It's not the minority of them anymore. If they become almost half-decent, maybe people will respect them. Rant over
  8. I'd have thought this happening in his younger, developing years would have bigger consequences. He was still learning, so when/if he returns he'll have the normal rustiness on top of that.
  9. Was a fun day out but it was all tainted by Mark Halsey and that injury. Not bothered about the defeat but I'm still seething about the potential career-ending injury to a wonderful young talent. Absolutely despicable refereeing, hope Halsey gets swiftly sacked. It was all a blur after that injury tbh. I applaud Carver's actions - he's basically one of us. I'd have ripped McManaman's head off given the chance. Wigan weren't good but we were awful - especially in the first half. But that injury In other news, was good to see Dino, Neesy & Sifu Gupter briefly showed, we hid, then things went back to normal
  10. Even if Massadio can carry on playing, it's unlikely he'll meet the undoubted potential he had. It is infuriating because we've had a talent taken away from us by a vile thug. Best of luck to him, I hope we see him on a football pitch again.
  11. If you like Spam you'll love Sunderland. Their newspapers give away hampers of it, worth £50. Our newspapers only offer holidays and stuff So jealous
  12. Where are yous drinking once you arrive in Wigan? last time I went (06/07) there was only some crappy sports bar and a Harvester-style pub. Ketsbaia and I will be there. I think you'll recognise him. If so, come over and I will break my duck of letting people off the forum know who I am! Aye, I've met Ketsbaia (and have him on Facebook) so will come and say hello (provided that I can find you!) Definitely come over I keep hearing about this Red Robin place, so hopefully thats where our coach goes. As embarassing as this sounds, tomorrow's my first away game.
  13. Soccer Saturday show the Championship goals dont they? I have to see this Wolves mistake.
  14. Honestly, I can barely fucking breathe. For the last ten minutes I was just walking around the fucking house, picking stuff up and cleaning it. The kitchen is absolutely spotless. I can't handle much more of this. I've already got high blood pressure. I feel so sorry for our forward line. We're at times great going forward and can pass the ball nicely, but the defence is so utterly fragile and short of confidence. Must be pretty much safe now though - great news for your blood pressure!
  15. They're a disease and anybody that even tries to justify anything about them deserves a slap. Definitely this.
  16. His car's getting another wash, lucky thing.
  17. I'd sacrifice Villa staying up if it meant QPR would go.
  18. The Kleberson-Adu swap will probably be one of my all-time favourite transfers
  19. Villa win is fine too tbh. Big gap forming.
  20. A lot of that sounds like Sunderland, apart from the success.
  21. My Super 6 is looking great so far, could be a rich man! I went for: Soton 2-3 Liverpool Villa 1-2 QPR Stoke 1-1 West Brom Swansea 1-2 Arsenal Hull 2-1 Forest Sheff Wed 0-2 Cardiff
