If it was a newer referee he wouldn't dare mention it in his report but Mike Dean's experience means he could avoid the politics. Fingers crossed he mentions it because Ferguson deserves the book thrown at him and has done for a long, long time.
On the surface I've had a great few weeks because I've flew up all my leagues and done well.
But they've been a disaster for subs. A 4pt hit on Clichy & Morrison for Cuellar & Walcott cost me about 20pts, whilst Lambert has just gone out. Decided not to bring in Cole before Chelsea's 2 clean sheets too. FML.
We had them today
So proud of the performance but to ultimately get as many points as 5-0 would've got is horrible. Willo losing Hernandez for the winner winds me up, as does the Anita injury. Despite the result, that was a fantastic match though.
A decent 57 this week. Unlike last year, I actually got past the 1st round of the cup too - my team was brilliant last year but it had an off week and went out straight away!
It's awful to see such a good striker toiling on the wing. I completely sympathise with his frustration, not helping by his replacement scoring the winner.
Seems to be a low scoring week across the board - just a few clean sheets bouncing about, really. I'm on 33pts, with Mata, RvP and Michu to play. My cup opponent is on 21 with Cahill, A Cole, N Dyer and Rodallega to play. I should be ok.
So relieved to scrape that win, although I thought we were alright. QPR made it hard to get through, so twinkletoes Ameobi had to save the day.
Fair play to Pardew, after 80mins I was asking for his head on a pole this Christmas but his substitutions won the match, technically.
That'll keep us ticking over for the next few games Gonna fuel up on alcohol to celebrate!
