  1. M'Vila being out is a massive moment because that basically rules out France from winning. Was really looking forward to watching him play too
  2. Some players say things they dont back up, but you know Balotelli will snap or walk off the pitch. And unfortunately, the fans are going to do this. Can see it coming a mile off and it'll overshadow the tournament.
  3. How does he keep getting away with this?
  4. So with Liverpool and Villa appointing managers that beat them on the final day of the season - does that mean West Brom are getting Wenger? I'm checking Paddy Power right now...
  5. I already thought Norwich would get relegated next year, so this guarantees it. Shame.
  6. Right, the pot is £32 now. Hart Hummels Rami Alba Mathijsen Srna Ozil Robben Llorente Lewandowski Muller (with £3.3m left over to bring in Young for Srna)
  7. Wow, they give you far too much money on this Sky one And there's 15 transfers during the 3 group games? So basically you can just go crazy. In that case I'll pick a team for the first gameweek (using Srna instead of Young etc) and just have loads of money left over.
  8. Bet on Lewandowski as top scorer, that's what i'm gonna do.
  9. Is this the same Chelsea who have told Torres he's their #1 striker and are now getting Hulk too? I'm not worried by this.
  10. I can't believe there are Liverpool fans arguing this is a great appointment. This just won't end well or even start well and I'm so relieved they didn't go for AVB.
  11. This will be an absolute disaster. A delicious, wonderful, perfect disaster.
  12. I've went: GK: Cech, Given DEF: Hummels, Debuchy, Jordi Alba, Zhirkov, M Olsson MID: Ozil, Young, Ben Arfa, Mandzukic, Polanski FOR: Llorente, Robben, Lewandowski
  13. I just can't believe the Liverpool board are gullible enough to fall for this, especially when the likes of AVB are available.
  14. It must be the easiest transfer rumour to make up, so I'm not worried at all. I think Spurs have their sights set higher anyway.
  15. Won't he need loads and loads of money to build a side that plays anything like Swansea? For all the good stuff Swansea played, they got figured out by several teams near the end and there's a genuine chance they will suffer 'second season syndrome'. He's an alright manager, but a result of the overhyping in this country and for me this will only end in disaster for both parties. Excellent.
  16. Hopefully they get replaced by a team with a low coefficient.
  17. Chrome is fine for me but he is still IE, he tried to logon on my PC and the problem was still there.
  18. My brother can't choose a team on the official McDonalds one - there is always a blank screen below the animated Assistant’s advice. The pitch doesn’t show up and therefore he can’t pick a team and take part in the game. How does he get around this one? It's a pest.
  19. Anyone who thought those Amalfitano chant ideas were a waste of time, take a look at this... Shit got just real, guys. http://www.journallive.co.uk/nufc/newcastle-united-news/2012/05/30/romain-amalfitano-wooed-by-nufc-fans-french-affair-61634-31073061/ Apparantly we beat St Etienne, Lille, Malaga and Sevilla to get him.
  20. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2151833/Newcastle-keen-Mathieu-Debuchy.html I know this says nothing but, hey, it's been quiet lately. And I really, really, really want us to sign him!
  21. Rodgers and Liverpool doesn't feel like a good match. Its a shame because i like the guy, but right now he should be staying at Swansea. Poor Gylfi.
  22. At least only one team will be like that rather than now when both teams are too scared to go for it.
  23. They discussed this on the latest World Football Phone-In and came up with an interesting suggestion. My initial opinion was that whilst penalties aren't ideal, we've grown up with them and they're ingrained in the game. It's cruel and luck plays a part, but that's life lets just accept we'll never find a better idea. It may not be the perfect solution, but its the optimal solution. We can't do replays (due to logistics), decide it on least fouls committed (puts pressure on referees), on most corners (it'll promote unsavoury tactics) or anything like that. We're stuck with shootouts forever! However, I really liked what they came up with - have the shootout between the 90 minutes and extra time, so the losing team can still do something about it. If Chelsea win the shootout, Bayern have 30 minutes to grab a winner and make the shootout irrelevant. They'll have to go for it and it will stop dull, negative extra time periods. Opinions? Should we just leave it as it is or can penalty shootouts evolve?
  24. I have several thousand posts and only 10-15 more minutes of time on this break. You'll want to be significantly more specific. I love this.
