4-1 is convincing, but Wigan were absolutely atrocious tonight - especially in defence. Almost any team could beat that.

Bale - Nani - Sessegnon - Moses - Cabaye Van Persie - Adebayor - Sturridge ....is what I have at the moment. Is it worth sacrificing a prolific striker to make the midfield perfect? Because I'm considering using my wildcard to get: Bale - Silva - Valencia - Sessegnon - Ben Arfa Van Persie - Adebayor - Yakubu/Long/Helguson (as well as doing Ruddy > Mignolet and Santon > Senderos)
-
And it starts tonight.

Although if this is karma's way of balancing out the Alan Smith news, I suppose it isn't too bad.

Oh shit. Anyone know where I can buy a gun? not really!

If using racist language doesn't make you racist, then what does? He doesn't just make one comment either, it's several. Either way, he needs banning for a while.
-
I'd say the evidence is overwhelming that he said those things to Evra. And to me, that makes him a racist.
-
Just caught up with all this. Suarez is clearly, obviously a racist and the FA should throw the book at him because 8 matches is nowhere near enough. But the way Dalglish, Liverpool FC and some of their fans have reacted is barbaric.....it's awful that people like this still exist in 2012. They're defending the indefensible and forgiving the unforgivable.

Ding Dong! The Witch is dead. Which old Witch? The Wicked Witch! Ding Dong! The Wicked Witch is dead. I don't cry but if I did, this would be it. Tears of joy. Celebratory piss-up?

Been thinking of uncommon players to transfer in, to differentiate you from rivals. Ideas include: Best (4.7m - probably 4.6m by tomorrow) and Ben Arfa (5.4m) will be bargains when Ba goes away. Senderos (4.3m) doesn't seem to concede many at Fulham. Bellamy (7.4m) will probably be #1 striker with Suarez banned. Adam Johnson (7m) would be a bargain if he played more. But with winter rotation and Yaya going to Africa, he might do so. Caulker (4m) plays regularly in Swansea's defence. Cahill (5.2m) is off to a big club but is still cheap.

The match against Liverpool had Jamie Redknapp and Joe Cole. I could actually feel my IQ dropping, it was awful.
-
So either the guy has scored an own goal for LFC/MUFC or he's won the FA Cup at the Millennium Stadium? There must be a trick somewhere....
-
Finished on 30 points ffs Just brought in Moses for Allen, which has been in the pipeline for a while. Bale is captain as Spurs have two matches....
-
Well thats really fucking terrible news.
-
It simply has to be Samba or Mbiwa. They want shooting if it's someone like Tomkins.

That gameweek was even worse than the last one What a joke!
-
Fair play with that win, like. Moments like that are what Sky are there for.......the gap is down to 9 points now oooooooh.

He'll be gutted when he discovers that Kuqi plays for Oldham.
-
It was on Spearing because if Cabaye didn't jump, he'd have been snapped in half.

Pardew has to take credit for the first 14 games. He handles the media well and created a good atmosphere for the squad. BUT..... He makes the exact same mistakes again and again. His persistance with Obertan and Raylor is, quite frankly, embarassing. His substitutions are mostly terrible and he'll give Sammy and Vuckic more minutes than Ben Arfa. Our tactics weren't working against WBA and he did nothing about it. We have a good team with fantastic individuals....7th place with Colo, Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa, Ba, Jonas and Krul isn't overachieving. The worst thing is knowing that no matter how obvious these problems are, they won't be resolved soon. But the alternative if we sacked him would be worse. Terrifying, isn't it?
-
Comfortable 0-2 defeat. He'll persist with Obertan, he'll only bring in Santon if Raylor gets sledgehammered and Ben Arfa will get 10 minutes at the end. Same old, same old.

Didn't think we were that bad tbh. We were even for a while, although once the third went in they seemed to give up. What annoyed me more was Sky's coverage. Cole and Redknapp lowered my IQ, the Gerrard love-in was sickening (man of the match? what the hell...), they said Carroll did "everything but score" when he was hilariously bad, they tried to make Colo a villain, they thought Cabaye should've seen red when Spearing's tackle was gonna be horrific and they kept showing the slo-mo of Dalglish and Gerrard smiling which made me homicidal! But our performace was ok.

A shocking player and he proves this every match. An absolute disaster zone, he's beyond abysmal.
