  1. imagine how much better west brom would be doing if they had managed to get him. he's fastly becoming our most important player.
  2. Barbra Streisand song, but with "Cheick Tiote" instead. Actually a lot of our players can fit the gap, but Lightbulb Head needs a chant.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

We're Ben Arfa and a couple more good signings away from a very good squad. Exciting times.

    Sunderland...

Had a feeling on the morning that our players' personalities could win it for us. Enrique, Barton, Carroll, Nolan and Shola would've been really up for it. Haven't listened to the Legends in a couple of years but would love to have heard tonights.
  5. Met a mackem today at my first day of work. We had nothing else to talk about. I hope he doesn't hate me.
  6. well im ready to eat my words with nolan. i cant pinpoint what it is, but somehow he is a very important player for us. nobody else would have hit that first like he did. and for today he'll always be immortal up here.

    ramble force hooooooooo
  8. that thing that sewpa kev said was out of order and total nonsence. the sunderland on that fanzone
  9. Definitely in the England squad now. Fantastic performance. You can tell that defenders really hate playing against him.
  10. Thought he said it wasn't his style and he'd be back to the tracksuit? Beautiful suit, it needs to stay.
  11. OK its gonna take me a while to read all this and I'm expecting some absolute GOLD. But personally, it was an absolute privilege to live this day and its one i'll never ever forget. Each player was - without exception - phenomenal and we really do have a new batch of Geordie icons. Nolan has got plenty of grief before, but his place in history is assured. It still feels surreal and I expect to wake up soon, but today really was the ultimate. Of everything. Instead of talking about it for hours (which is easily done), might just leave it at this - thank you for today. Unless we win a trophy, things will never ever ever get better than this.
  12. Ketsbaia, line up a second screenshot of today's scoreline next to your current sig! Would be class. Was planning on it

    Shola Ameobi

the cult continues. love the guy! he has the best smile in football.
  14. at the big crossroads between blackett street and percy street, we saw the michael jackson thriller guy moonwalk into the centre of the road and start directing traffic. was pretty funny!
  15. Dodgy start but soon returned to immenseness. We've really picked up a superstar. Then again, I love everybody today. Everything, everybody......you're all mint!

Might've been at a house party with Sami Ameobi last night, but I didn't notice.

    Harry Redknapp

Harry Redknapp's column http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/sunsport_columnists/3203522/Harry-Redknapp-has-been-bowled-over-by-Rafael-van-der-Vaart.html Firstly, I don't think the saggy faced twat could pat himself on his back any louder at the beginning. Secondly, he just won't stop banging on about Joe Cole. And finally, for a manager that detests his 'wheeler-dealer' tag, he doesn't do himself any favours with his top 3 signings ever.
  18. i cant believe im reading that thread, man. its so painful but its hard to look away. they're determined that we think we're everyones 2nd favourite team, which is nonsense. they've formed a stereotype of 'the geordie' and stick religiously to it. in fact, this often seen view of 'the geordie' is the biggest myth in football.
  19. One of my favourite memories was the pre-match atmosphere in Sam Jacks before the 2-1 defeat two years ago. They do a great job of whipping you into a frenzy and the place was crazy by kick off. I look forward to the same this Sunday. Only attended one in person though and that was the 3-2 Shola Show.
  20. Its very wishful. I don't see why the London Ambulance Service would be involved here.....

    Sunderland...

Message to those visiting from RTG: Maybe its time to acutally start supporting your own club. Don't relate everything to Newcastle, don't analyse every obscure detail about Newcastle and don't make every 2nd thread about Newcastle. Its pathetic and embarassing, to be honest. Stop this obsession and maybe one day you'll stop being this insignificant club that nobody cares about. You're like the dog humping the owners leg....its annoying and you come out of it looking very stupid indeed. You have a small club mentality and you keep feeding it with the pointless, obsessive drivel that pollutes your forum every day. If you stop looking over the fence all the time, maybe you'll learn to love your own garden. One day. EDIT: and yes, i've been drinking
  22. Man steps on the moon....9/11.....Diana's death.....The King is Dead.....Kanye West at the VMAs. These are all moments that transcend time. Moments that change the world forever. Where were you? Where were you? This Sunday, LIVE ON SKY SPORTS we'll bear witness to another of these iconic moments. A moment you can look back on and say "I was there, I saw it on Sky Sports - in 3D". The earth stands still as Africa, Asia, North America, South America, Europe and even Antartica all fix their eyes on one 52,000 seated, cantilever roofed cathedral. Your grandkids will talk about this day; your great grandkids will talk about this day; your great great grandkids will talk about this day forever and ever and ever.....the day that NEWCASTLE faced SUNDERLAND. Ford Super Duper Apocalyptic Thunder and Lightning Sunday. LIIIIIIIVE!!!
  23. Can't wait to see who'll make themself a hero. I want it to be Tiote, Jonas or Enrique.
  24. But we have played Man U, Aston Villa, City and Everton. which i believe is an easier four than the other. add in those easy 3 home games too, and we should really have more points than we do.
