Perhaps they could sign Ched Evans too
-
Bollox 1-1 Dann for Palace
-
We've had the better of the first half but Palace have had their chances, we need another goal cushion.
-
So does Ashley think ahead and put in relegation clauses in contracts?
-
Leighton James reckoned Shelvey is a 1 in 5 player
-
Surprised Deulofeu not playing for them, he sent over a number of quality crosses against us, we were lucky no-one was there to finish them, close a few times
-
In work so can't watch, curious, how's Shelvey's pointing coming on
-
Paloschi hits the post grrr
-
Is he a big loss to you guys Groo? He's been playing well first half
-
Ki Stretchered off

Ki stretchered off for Swansea

Swansea start with the same team that beat Everton.

Actually Gomis is a decent player who perhaps needs a different type of service, playing with another striker would probably benefit him, he is a good finisher.
-
Yup, he run his contract down with his last club and came for a big sign on fee and salary. Same agent as Gomis as well, who also ran his contract down with his last club.

This type of thing winds me up, agent openly trying to sell a player where the club has no intention of selling "Agent Mark Mackay says Sunderland made a strong bid for the Ghana international but have so far been unable to convince the Swans to sell. Sunderland reportedly offered a £12m deal that included Fabio Borini heading back to south Wales, and they could yet return with another bid at the end of the season if they survive in the Premier League. But Mackay has also raised the prospect of them making one last attempt before Monday's transfer deadline despite Black Cats boss Sam Allardyce claiming to have given up on Ayew. "I'm surprised Andre is still at Swansea in a way," said Mackay. "Sam Allardyce, a manager I have great respect for, made a very good proposal but Swansea have been determined to keep him. "Sam recognised that he is a player of talent and character who has continued to perform well in a struggling side." http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/andre-ayews-agent-surprised-star-10812424? I'd love to have a meeting with Mackay, just the three of us, me Mackay and my baseball bat.

Paloschi having a medical at Swansea apparently http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/swansea-city-breaking-transfer-news-10800080 Guidolin on Paloschi He was my player when we were at Parma. He was a promising player, very young and then went on. He’s a good player, a good guy and can be important for us. He can help us get some results and score many goals - I hope. I asked the chairman to sign him, if it was a possibility because I like him as a player. He is a modern player, he can play well in the Premier League, because he is strong and a good player.

Why? Do you think we'd actually sell him?

A little insight for you, this is the awful thing you get when fans own 20% of the club, a statement telling you exactly whats going on. This tells us why it took so long to get a replacement manager, the strings attached that managers wanted to come to Swansea. As a side it talks about player search, apparently we nearly tied up a deal for striker, it would have been high wages and taken most of the Shelvey money but he wanted a relegation clause.. A FREE TRANSFER!!!! http://www.swanstrust.co.uk/2016/01/23/where-do-we-go-from-here-part-2/

For the masochists among you try this http://www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-premier-league/ I did it a few weeks back and tried to be objective on Swansea results and had us relegated on 34 points, maybe I was too pessimistic For Swansea our final 7 games could be a killer unless we gain enough points before hand. I'm wondering if 37 points will be enough this year.

Swansea's next fixture is West Brom away
-
We'll not sell Ayew, Jenkins has already said he won't be sold before the summer and I presume that will only be if we're relegated.
-
I'd be shocked if that happened. Shelvey I could understand, although the timing and to a relegation rival I don't understand. Ayew, no way, think its Allardyce's mind games.

I remember the negative feedback I got from you lot last season when I mentioned Shelvey should be in the England squad.
