His contract is until the end of the 2014/15 season, and Verts and Naughton were only playing because he was injured and we had loaned Rose out. There were some rumours that he and AVB don't see eye to eye, but these seem to have been part of the pro-Harry media's attempt to undermine AVB. There don't actually seem to be any issues. No, he's just a young guy who hadn't really shown any signs of working the game out before. Sounds like he might have accepted that LB is his position, and really developed. There's definitely a slot open for him at Spurs, but I can't see it being ahead of BAE. Apparently that's not good enough for him. Pity, but fair enough. He'd be a relatively cheap player who'd qualify as homegrown for us. Can't see Levy selling for anything less than 5M, and I'd dearly like to get more. We've now got several possible full-backs, all of whom are sort of OK. I think Levy will have to cash in on at least two - probably Naughton and Rose. Adam Smith looked good again for England at right-back, but he's another who's better going forward than backwards. Kyle Walker is absolutely dreadful mind. Not particularly good going forward and beyond suspect at defending.

Zaha isnt under rated for me like. The boy's a talent. 15M is steep like but I think he'll become a top player at Man Utd. Fergie is possibly one of the best judges of talent in the world (que for someone to post a picture of Obertan or Bellion) and I couldn't see him shelling out that much if he wasnt sure. The few times I've watched him this season he's been a cut above, especially considering he's recently turned 20. Talking of championship talent, my mate works at pride park and was telling me that Saturday was the 2nd time in a few months Mike Phelan has been at Derby presumably to watch young Will Hughes. Seen him play more than Zaha and although he blows hot and cold, it's frightening to think he's only 17.

So we won't make any more signings? Where did i say this? We've been looking at him prior to Janaury, you'd have thought, with his apparent availability, we'd have a fee agreed by now. It's not as if we have been looking at other centre midfielders. QPR hijacking a move is one thing, but fannying around and failing to get deals tied up allowed other clubs to turn attention to said players is another.

Cant see us getting him. At the end of the day, he's seemingly been a target for a while, if we were serious we'd have tied it up by now. It's January 21st. If QPR beat us to this one, there's nobody to blame but ourselves.
