  1. I like the idea. If it played correctly, 4231 is a very solid formation that we've seen time and time again very difficult to break down. However, have we got the players to implement it? Have we got enough organization and command to stay solid? Have we got the discipline in midfield? Have we got the ability to stay solid yet still create chances? Doubtful. We'd need 2 new Defensive midfielders for a start. Barton isnt a holding midfielder and niether as Guthrie. Smith is, well nobody actually knows what Smith is but e sure as hell isnt good enough. Personally I think Hughton will go with the same as last season. A defensive 'whack it up to Carroll' 4-4-1-1 away and a little bit more attacking 4-4-2 at home.
  2. No because we'd have to pay the add on's that were part of the deal.
  3. Out of interest do you two sit on in the same room on separate laptops? I can imagine it, "here Cat, get a load of what Pilko's just said!" "wait there I'm just in chat, I'll be out to give him a piece of my mind in a minute"
  4. I really really hope we dont sign James Perch. Questionable weather he's even Championship standard.
  5. Didnt Dabizas and Caldwell do something similar a few year back?
  6. It makes absolutely no difference what so ever. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer hacking down Rob Lee, then X the significance by 100. Would you still be claiming he isnt a cheat? At the end of the day, he stopped a clear goal by deliberately cheating. No two ways about it. Yeah, and the only reason I hate Solskjaer is because it was against NUFC, if it was the other way about I'd be praising him. It's simple f***ing logic like. But your praising someone for the exact same reason and your saying you'd hate them? Honestly dont know how you cant say it's NOT blatant cheating

  8. That fucking Mensah pen man. Fucking Micky Gray levels of shitness that was.
  9. It makes absolutely no difference weather he knew he was going to get caught. He fucking cheated. Thought having seen it again I agree with in LLLO in that it was an instinctive reaction.
  10. Luis Suarez is a despicable cheating cunt. On par with Maradona and Thierry Henry that is.
  11. We should have a game of Clive Tyldsley bingo like
  12. I haven't heard it. Though this is the first time I've managed to watch Ghana. Whats the story like?
  13. He's gone backwards I think. With Al Fayed selling Harrods Fulham are going to have a lot more cash to play with than Liverpool for the foreseeable future. Liverpool's squad will no doubt depleat further and anything below 5th improvement the next season would be seen as a failure. While a top 10 finish with little old fulham will be seen as a success, despite they're got money to spend.
  14. I've got £10 on Uruguay to get knocked out at the q/f stage at 6/1. Howay Ghana.
  15. Suppose its a chance to play regularly and build his way back up to find his level. He is from there isnt he? Hope he hasnt settled for the easy option and given up on any real future though. Guidepost, so aye he is really.
  16. Just what the fuck is that picture all about?
  17. You only have to imagine the next day and the immense stick your going to receive/give. Sadly I think it'll be the former.
  18. Ner. By the time the season comes round I think we'll have the 3rd worst squad in the league and we'll be heavily relying on other factors when it comes to staying up.
  19. Wouldn't have played for free though would he? That's our problem, we've got zero to spend. Absolute zero. Probably get pelters for this but; I simply dont subscribe to that view.
  20. Jonny Godsmark has signed for Ashington.
  21. I was in the away end when we played Stevenage Borough in the cup. Cant remember much of it but by all accounts they're a horrible lot.
  22. Why would they bid for a player that barely anyone has heard of to drive up season ticket sales? They probably thought they could get a player they'd looked at on the cheap due to the clubs position and got told where to go. If this story isn't complete crap that is... Are PSG in financial trouble? Or are you just assuming that, because it's really the only logical explanation.
