It'll be hard going for marquee fixture. Liverpool, Man Utd, an important game but unless we're challenging for the title, interest will subside. First game of the season, everybody blocks it out, everybody raring to go, the vast majority of members probably applied. As the season goes on, people have other commitments. I can't attend Liverpool, Brighton or Brentford next month. Other people will be the same. Goes without saying we're on the crest of a wave like. Eventually, apathy will set in and not every man and his dog will want a ticket. I'd wager we have the biggest demand for tickets in world football at the moment. It won't be like that forever.

I reckon most people will choose Sections 1+2 and a load will miss out. Then we'll be left with a load unsold in other areas because you can only pick one section. Fair play to them rolling it back and the quick response. You can't complain at them providing some kind of fix the next day. It is and it isnt the fault of the 'new owners'. Its more to do with the decentralized, hands off system they've implemented. They've brought in Ashworth to deal with the football, Eales as CEO, Silverstone as commercial etc. While PIF have final say, they've clearly given a fair bit of autonomy to those they've brought in to run the club on the basis that they succeed in their remit, or they're off. Clearly they've brought in Silverstone with the task of growing the clubs revenue through commercial means. Now this cunt isnt going to give the first fuck about atmosphere, he isnt going to give a fuck about your grandad who cant sit in level 7 and he certainly isnt going to give a fuck about no cost of living crisis. The only thing he's arsed about is his job - increasing revenue. So, given that we're assuming he's done a good job for the owners of Arsenal, he's went back to what he's done before and plonked Arsenals ticketing system on to us. Shite for us, hopefully shite for the club but thats not what he'll think. Company people making business decisions.

Wonder if he really doesn't want to go and the club are pushing him out the door. He's only 26, got to be fairly demoralising having to go to Saudi Arabia if you're just about to hit the prime of your career. Can't say the comments from Leicester fans fill me with a great deal of confidence, but it can be difficult to judge a player fairly in a shite team. Close to 80m on Barnes and Gordon is some outlay. I'm going to refrain from passing judgement for a while as I can see in theory why we've signed both, Gordon already looks to be improved and if anyone can develop players, its Howe. Whether either has the quality to be mainstays in a top 5 side, I'm not convinced but we'll see.

Hes a brilliantly talented player, one of the most talented ive seen at NUFC. Having said that, given the way we play and his lack of availability, if we had a good offer that helped with FFP and we were able to invest in a quality replacement, Id be fine with him going. I dont want him replaced by Harvey Barnes though.

All seems to have gone fairly quiet at the minute. Hopefully working on something decent behind the scenes. Ideally were biding our time, for when clubs needing to sell get a bit twitchy.
