He was very poor first half, touch was off, passing was poor. Caught on the ball a few times which is the hallmark of a player not yet used to the pace of the game here. I think Howe said he hasn't trained much recently. Given the teams we've played, it's been some baptism of fire for him. Could hardly have had harder fixtures to get acquainted with English football. Hopefully it'll do him good though. I'd echo the sentiments of wanting to see him against teams when we've got more of the ball. I don't think he'll play in both but I think I'd rather see him against Burnley than PSG. Imagine Howe will prefer him for the CL.

Absolutely immense today

Got to be finishing that like. He's far too limited Murphy.

Every time we get the ball City foul. Niggly tactical fouls that are never punished with a yellow. Infuriating

I sat next to the fella in the bottom right once, he almost immediately told me how he wished there were 11 Geordie's on the pitch

Its a shame but Gordon is looking good. Isak can play out there and I think we were at our best last season with the Willock/Joelinton combo out on the left. Joelinton can definitely step in too.

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)

Ideally we want a half fit, rushed back from injury, misfiring Mbappe. I'll take no Mbappe though. -
Also, the Man Utd line is lifting. Where was that on record?

I can't go back through posts on my phone but I'm pretty sure you said the club contacted the trust over ticketing checks and the Trust pointed towards Brightons system? Lo and behold, we now have a similar system. Were members consulted on implementing a similar system? Was that the consensus amongst fans? If not, the Trust should have said zip. That's where my claim that the blame lies with the Trust in part comes from. Of course, if I've misremembered that, I'll shut up.

Pictures of barely full busses going to Sheffield. You can have your opinions on fairness but the club have absolutely killed the away day culture that has served us well. Trust are to blame as well.

Bellingham already looks the best English midfield player of my lifetime. So good.

John Carver there on the bench. Remember that clown

Sevilla who are bottom of La Liga, Hertha who are 17th in the German second division, Standard Liege who are 3rd bottom of the Belgian League (and without European football) and Genoa who were relegated from Serie A two seasons ago. Give it up lads, youre shite. edit: Oh and Vasco Da Gama who are on course to be relegated from the Brazilian Serie A

Absolutely sick of hearing about Saudi fucking Arabia like. Can't go a day without hearing about the cunts. Fed up of how blatant and on the nose all this shit is. It's really incomparable to Man City. Fed up of all the politics surrounding the club. From the politics between fans around Ashley to this. Think I'll do well to log out of twitter and ignore NUFC until it's close to match day.

I think now is when Howe what he's about. We played some brilliant, intense football last season. So far this season, we look less intense, teams are getting between the lines, Isak looks a little isolated and the midfield hasnt worked as well as we'd have hoped. Is Howe able to recognise whats caused our issues and address them? Is he able to tweak things so he's getting the best out of our midfield three? Is he able to integrate the players he had a big hand in signing - paticularly Barnes and Gordon? We've got a good run of fixtures and I have every confidence in Howe. We had a poor run last year and we came back from it. Things havent looked as we'd hoped these last three games (against quality opposition) and its another challenge for Howe.

Fuck me what a shambles again. Club are utterly useless for ticketing this season.

Bore off you relentless gobshite prick. -
Including January that's two left wingers, neither of which look better than the one we let go for 27m. Two fullbacks who are on the bench. I'm not convinced in the slightest. We haven't improved our 11 except for Tonali, and our midfield has looked worse with him part of it (though I don't think that's his fault)

Shite. Missed chances again. Joelinton looks knackered. Bruno miles off it again. Shaky at the back. Unable to press and don't look any good on the break. -
