  1. Think he's been one of our better performers this season - to the point that before January I didn't consider right back a priority. He was rotten when he first joined but a thoroughly able squad member now. A lot better than Krafth.
  2. This club has such rotten luck with injuries man.
  3. They should protest and it is a worthy cause. Our support shouldn't be taking issue with it. Can't stand folk shilling for PIF. However, I cant help but wonder where the protests have been for Man City, or whether there would be a protest if they drew PSG in next season's CL. Whattaboutary doesn't dilute their cause, but the cynic in me can't help but wonder if a lot of clubs frustrations are born out of fear of our potential success, especially West Ham who are doing well.
  4. As bad as they were, and it is a cliche, there is too much quality in that Everton side for them to go down like.
  5. Think he'll be off at the end of the season. There's a player in there, seems to have lost his way a bit though. No idea where he fits in this current side though. Within the midfield three? No. As a winger? Dont think hes got the delivery. Perhaps in Willocks role behind the 9? 37 Games for club and country without a goal now like.
  6. Dont mind a bit of The Old George on a matchday, just to throw another pub into the pre match discussion mix.
  7. I dont think he'll start on Sunday and to be honest, i'd back Howe on that. The midfield have played well on their last two outings and I dont think they've given Howe any reason to change. I know not changing a winning team is pure PFM nonesense, but in the same respect it would be harsh to drop any of the midfield three imo. When he does inevitably come in, it should be for Willock. He did alright against Leeds and played well in the second half last night but Ive still got doubts about his quality. He often looks better in the second half when hes got the legs to stretch play. He's not suited to a tight midfield battle, his touch and positioning isnt good enough like. I've been seething at Shelvey for a good few years now but I've seen improvements in recent weeks. He looks a bit fitter, a bit more able to get around the park. He needs replaced asap but I wouldnt be dropping him at the moment. Bruno, Shelvey, Joelinton is out best midfield three like.
  8. Manquillo for Targett would be the only change I'd make. Dont think we need to make any other changes. Bruno to come on at some point, probably for Willock or Shelvey.
  9. Best spell for us so far. Works really well with Trippier like.
  10. Thought Everton were utterly abject too btw, particularly second half. Absolutely shit themselves at any sort of pressing. Mad how many times they repeatedly gave the ball away. Gomes and Allan in midfield were pedestrian. Townsend looks finished. Both full backs were shite as well. Thought Alli looked rubbish too. Think they'll have enough about them to stay up but they really are poor.
  11. Can't fault his work ethic like. Desperate for him to score.
  12. Unplayable tonight. What a player. He has his flaws but he's easily one of the most exciting, talented players we've ever had here tbh. Brilliant.
  13. Thought we really grew into the game after a nervy start. Bossed it then onwards. Still nervous about potentially losing ASM, thought he was absolutely unplayable tonight like. What a player. Thought Willock grew into the game and you can't fault Joelintons work ethic. Can't really fault any of our players, even thought Lascelles had a good game. Brilliant stuff.
  14. Very well done. Thought he got it wrong leaving Bruno out but he's been proven right. Back to back wins. Clearly implementing his style too.
  15. What a fuckin player. Unreal.
  16. Honestly, how can a player be so bad anywhere going forward. Beyond a joke how many times he falls over close to goal. Must be a mental thing.
  17. Joelinton man. How was he ever considered a striker?
  18. I mean its Howe's call but if we're beat and overrun in midfield people will kick off an rightly so. I can understand not rushing him into a settled side, but not the worst midfield in the league.
