  1. Guess our 'Tesco voucher contract' didn't appeal in that light.
  2. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/england/ Top story in England.
  3. The whole 'being left out against Darlington' for 'fitness reasons' is really worrying. The guy hasn't been injured. He's a beast, fitness-wise. God, I'll be so angry if we sell Tiote.
  4. Tiote sold to Chelsea. Enrique to Liverpool. Coloccini was made captain to increase his value, so he's off for £12m. Such a profit!
  5. Tbf, if your leg was in three pieces, you'd probably be a bit sulky too.
  6. "It is wholly illogical that a club that signs 9 new players and has single-handedly set the transfer window alight are overlooked in this way." http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=607961#ixzz1RoH9pbQY
  7. Everyone else demands millions for their players. We give ours away, basically. Routledge could easily reasonably command double that. It's obviously because we have an enormous squad and we'll hardly miss... oh, wait...
  8. -1, surely? Ba in, Ranger out. Are you counting Carroll?
  9. So we've now a net gain of 0 strikers.
  10. It's the rest of her is the problem.
  11. I should never have posted that image.
  12. http://a2.twimg.com/profile_images/1423292796/image.jpg Good thing she's not shallow then, eh?
  13. Douglas claiming we're close to a signing a new youngster, but that it's not ready for publication yet.
  14. England. Quarter-finals. Penalties. Defeat. I dunno why we bother participating in international football tournaments.
  15. They're having the "We haz signed Chmpionns Leeg winnerz brrrap!" wankfest again.
  16. Pity that's not Newcastle airport, really.
  17. Can't compare the two windows. The sum we got for Carrol proves how stupid the january prices are. Unlike before we're not willing to pay more than what the players is actually worth. The fact that we ended up empty handed, doesn't mean that we didn't try. If Enrique is sold, I think M'Benge will arrive quickly. What if he is sold last thing on deadline day? Liverpool and Arsenal will be smiling away with their new left backs while we have Neil Taylor, the supposed backup. We wouldn't even get Taylor. We'd have a bid at 8 minutes to midnight rejected as 'derisory'.
