  1. Nolan's been ill, so not surprising he wasn't 100%. Played cause we had no one else to come in.
  2. Look at the line-up that finished that game. Harper, Simpson, Williamson, Coloccini, Enrique, Barton, Perch, Nolan, Jonas, Ranger, Lovenkrands A draw is a great result when that's what you've got to work with. Zero investment and no depth will mean we can't hold on to results like this cause our squad is tired and stretched thin.
  3. He's there with one of Newcastle's scouts, interestingly.
  4. Was gonna go, but then didn't realise the trains were all cancelled from Durham. Great.
  5. Who else have we actually got? Haha, yeah, we don't have any other first-team midfielders. Which is why this is so ridiculous.
  6. Fucking outrageous if true. Typical Newcastle. "We'll look to strengthen cause we don't have enough players" and then they sell someone instead.
  7. Footballers have to understand that if they come here, they don't get paid.
  8. .co.uk "Dan Gosling also sat it out as he shaked off the last effects of his long-term knee injury. But those who did train were looking sharp ahead of Spurs." Doesn't sound overly serious.
  9. Problem is with current injuries & suspensions, here's our two XIs. Harper Simpson Coloccini Williamson Enrique Barton Nolan Guthrie Jonas Ameobi Best and our back-up Krul Perch Folan Ferguson Inman Donaldson Lovenkrands Ranger Xisco Injured: Carroll, Ben Arfa, Gosling, S. Taylor, R. Taylor, Campbell, Smith, Vuckic About to be sold/on loan: Routledge, Kadar, Tavernier, Tozer Suspended: Tiote
  10. Oh, I wasn't following on from you. Just stated by point haha. I agree with you, mate. I don't think we'll get anyone better in.
  11. So long as we replace him. That's the most important thing here.
  12. Madness decision, unless we get a better player in. Wouldn't count on it.
  13. He's a good, solid defender. Not much else to say really.
  14. Probably just swole up. I could have sworn he was gonna come back on. Definitely not broken or fractured. Probably just bruised. That's weird that, because he walked off the pitch without a f***ing limp
  15. Harper made some great saves throughout the game. If it hadn't been for him, I imagine it could easily have been 3-1 or so.
  16. I'll take a draw any day of the week. It's hardly much save face for them, since they were completely outplayed second half. I'll happily take 6-2 aggregate over the season.
