Seconded.
-
Whoever he begins to manage will become my second team. God help me if that's Burnley.
-
If we're going for CL, aye. As a first team that's really quite decent. On paper, yes.
-
Pretty much word for word what I'd write. Also need another striker as a priority though/ Well, I dunno. We have Xisco and Best sitting there. To an extent, they're unknowns. Best looked good in pre-season, and Xisco I still feel has talent if we don't just let him rot. We're never gonna get anyone as good as Carroll in January. Either of those two may prove to be as good as anything we could get. But yes, if they are both poor then we need another striker.

Krul Simpson Williamson Coloccini Enrique Tiote Nolan Barton Ben Arfa Jonas Carroll Still need a better LW, a better CM, a better RB, a better CB.
-
Just saw the goals. Krul didn't have a chance for either. Truth is, they were brilliant goals.

Agreed. But I think anybody expecting the club NOT to be in a situation where a decent manager was sacked for an equal/poorer manager who has to start all over again, realising James Perch is wank, and costing us points is being reasonable.

The "We Won't Win Another Game This Season" Fred aka Relegation-o-meter

Anything less than 3 points out of the next two games, and I'm going to say 8. -
Xisco joins Deportivo on loan until the end of the season

It's ridiculous. He's clearly got some talent. -
Spurs vs Newcastle - Pre Match Thread - 28/12/10 3pm KO

I'd like: Krul Simpson Williamson Coloccini Ferguson Routledge Barton Tiote Jonas Carroll Ranger We're gonna get beaten anyway, let's see what Ranger can do and may as well give Ferguson a full bloodying as he's pretty much the only out and out LB we have in reserve. -
Gareth Barry's blatant kick at Joey Barton yesterday.

Didn't see this. Was it bad? -
Yeah, but we have that in Ben Arfa. Just not for the next month or two.
-
Dropping him for Routledge might well give him the smack he needs to try a little harder in the final third.
-
Another good shift today. If it weren't for Carroll, he'd be my most-improved player so far. What I thought was a stop-gap in the Championship has become a solid PL RB. Good job, lad.

Yep, exciting as owt! Would be nothing better than sacking our second manager of the season after 2 games and facing another period of unrest as we wonder which relic will next get a shot at us. Maybe Jol's reconsidered? :colo: Could you imagine, though? I mean, it would single-handedly prove to the world that Mike Ashley is a certified lunatic. You'd have to stop and laugh at the sheer insanity of it all. Alas, life goes on. Of course mate. If we actually hit that point tonight and this was true, it'd have to be a 'you have to laugh or you'd cry' moment. If we didn't I think half of the Newcastle fans in the world would f***ing top themselves

Newcastle 1 - 3 Man City - 26/12/2010 - Post-Match Reaction From Page 15

Whilst I don't dagree with a lot of what Quakes said, my word, that Taylor description is perfect. "Like watching 4 individual defenders who have never met each other." He the defence's organisational equivalent of Mike Ashley, just fucking everyone else up. -
Got excited there for a second.

Can only remember one chant of YFCBGOOOC. Pretty pitiful we all just accept getting shat on. -
He is cover for Ben Arfa, though. He's decent cover. It's De Jong's fault we've had to rely on him so heavily.
-
Except when he's missing from three yards out. That was not as easy a chance as everyone's making it out to be. Carroll's header near the start was much easier.
