What I want:
Krul
Simpson Taylor Coloccini Ferguson
Tiote
Gosling Cabaye
Marveaux Jonas
Ba/Best
What we'll get:
Krul
Simpson Taylor Coloccini Raylor
Obertan Tiote Cabaye Jonas
Ameobi Best
Sounds slightly positive.
So did having a striker in 100%, Carroll staying 100% and all the £35m reinvested 100%.
It's all bullshit man, you just have to turn up and watch and hope for a win.
Acrimony Llambias & co are horrible.
You just know that all failed transfer negotiations end with:
Agent: "I'm afraid we can't possibly agree. Sorry."
Derek: "Yeah? YEAH?! Well... FUCK YOU!!!! FUCK YOU!!!! We never wanted [insert player name] anyway!"
Agent: "Right."
Derek: "Oh, and there's some cheap Lonsdale trainers available only at SportsDirect this week. Bye now."
Gah
The idea that the Mackems with Bardsley and Cattermole are complaining of ungentlemanly conduct via view obstruction... Don't know where to begin.
Exactly, said before the game, there is no way anyone should get p*ssed if he doesn't play when we have no idea where the level of his preparation is for the game.
Ordinarily I'd agree. But the QPR fans were laughing at Raylor all night. We're very lucky - nothing more than that - that Taylor did not cause us to concede.
Replace Ameobi with Ben Arfa when not injured, keep Best, and have a combination of Jonas/Marveaux/Obertan backed up by Cabaye & Tiote behind. That'll be fine.
Unfortunately, Ameobi keeps getting picked.
Pardew clearly doesn't want us to get too excited this early in the season.
A nice defeat to end hopes will go down nicely. Step forward Raylor against SWP and Ameobi against the only person marginally slower than he is, Anton Ferdinand.
Really worried that we won't be able to replace the chances he created last season.
Cabaye is sexy as, but we haven't seen if he can replace Barton like for like in that regard.
Liverpool just went and signed everyone, particularly people who scored against them last season.
Signings like Suarez and Enrique were top notch, but I think Carroll will never live up to the price tag. Not while they continue with that style of football (ie. a decent one).
