  5. there’s been a lot of rumours based off one line from an interview with the founders, but nothing ever officially linking them with Castore. it all came from this thread - https://www.followfollow.com/forum/threads/the-reuben-brothers-and-castore.139879/
  6. Castore are pish like. I hope we get them binned for Nike or Adidas as soon as possible. people give them way too much credit for releasing lazy shit like that retro shirt. it’s a cash grab. they’re not doing us a favour
  7. must be a proper buzz to have access to SJP like that. hope the club look after the lads properly and help them as much as possible along the way. I get the feeling they’ve only scratched the surface so far! worth remembering they rightfully walked away under Ashley as well. a selfless group of legends with morals and without egos. it’ll never catch on.
  8. Who would you add and why? Caveats: they're in their prime, on a contract until the end of the season, with the sole aim of improving the current team to ensure survival.
  9. just let the lad crack on, man. he’s obviously a few cards short of a full deck, like most “personalities” on youtube to be fair.
  10. this. it's built on Chrome and blocks all of that shit by default - https://brave.com/
  11. Newcastle director Amanda Staveley is confident the club will be able to agree new sponsorship deals with Saudi Arabian companies by the end of the month which would also enable them to remove the loathed Sports Direct branding from St James Park. The Premier League imposed a five-week ban on related-party sponsorship deals after Saudi's Public Investment Fund bought Newcastle last month, but at a meeting of the top-flight clubs in London on Thursday it was agreed that the moratorium would be lifted following their next meeting in a fortnight. The Premier League have set up a working party to bring in new rules to ensure that any related-party sponsorships, such as Manchester City's naming-rights and shirt deals with Etihad Airways, must be set at a fair market value in anticipating of Newcastle signing up a host of commercial agreements with Saudi firms. Staveley claimed on Thursday that the club will be in a position to activate new contracts later this month which would provide new manager Eddie Howe with funding to overhaul Newcastle's squad during the January transfer window, as well enabling them to rip down the last vestiges of the Mike Ashley regime, the Sports Direct signage. 'It is in the Premier League's hands, but we will be seeking to do sponsorship deals as fast as possible. The moratorium does not stop us from working on them, getting ready for that time now. So it is really important. 'Our concern is that the process the Premier League do is quick enough so after we close the moratorium we can get sponsorships out. Obviously that's a really important part of the process. 'The Sports Direct signs I'm looking forward to coming down. It's a slight frustration when I go into the stadium and I try and take a picture which doesn't have Sports Direct in it.' Staveley has promised Howe money to spend in January even if the proposed flood of sponsorship deals take longer to activate. 'We will inject our own money into the January transfer window,' she said. 'We are committed to investing in this club. We do not need sponsorship revenue to do that. We've already invested £38million [of equity] last week and we'll invest whatever we need to enter into the transfer window. So we're not stupid. 'We know January transfer windows are not where we really want to be. We're committed to this club at every level.'
  12. I was there, Rialto away on a wet and windy Wednesday night. with @Rich @UncleBingo @Heron and a few others. shit ground no fans. cracking carbonara though!

  16. based entirely on FIFA, Niklas Sule would be a great signing. 6'5" beast. great defensive and physical stats.
  17. "If I see unprofessionalism, or people not giving their all, then we won't get on" poor bloke is going to keel over after his first week.
  18. really happy with this. hope he gets a tremendous welcome at SJP!
  19. harsh if they get rid of Ole after this. he can’t exactly turn things around overnight. he’s a nice bloke who knows the club and the local area. not to mention he hasn’t been properly backed in the transfer market. deluded Man Utd fans expecting to win the World Cup every year ffs
  20. Hasn’t Fraser already came out and said him and Howe met for coffee and are fine? He’s shite anyway, so not fussed either way. edit: https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/18709131.ryan-fraser-claims-helped-keep-cherries-premier-league/
