  1. You're right. So fucking disheartening though man.
  2. Being the lazy t*** that I am on a lazy Sunday morning, I read through the very first Pardew thread. Really amazing that this c*** is still here. Barring a few cheeky sarcastic edits from some posters after we finished 5th, the vast majority of fans were 100% spot on being so worried at this appointment. He brings nothing positive to the club. Nothing but lies, excuses and negativity. He is so way out of his depth it's frightening that he is partly responsible for a multi-million pound business. Also, a lot of the rhetoric he spouted upon his appointment focused on youth development. It was apparently part of his mandate. Not that I'm very clued up on the subject, but he just doesn't seem to have anything to do with any kind of youth development/recruitment strategy at the club? Can't wait for the day we are rid of him, one way or another.
  3. His best position is not wide in a 4-4-2. It's wide in a 4-3-3. There's a massive difference in roles. 100%
  4. Yeah they were, but were priced out of a move? Maybe he'll wait to see if Schalke make the CL first.
  5. Kolo Toure was signed. That's right. Forgot about him. So he's most likely to be Carragher's replacement. Still need a "marquee" player to partner Agger. They still have Skirtel, i assume if he went then another defender would come in. By all accounts he wasn't himself last season, and earlier seemed to be on his way out.

  7. Have they strengthened their defence in any way this summer? With Carragher retiring, doubt over Skrtel, Agger's fitness problems and Coates seemingly not wanted by Rodgers, it's the one area I thought they would address. To my knowledge they have done nothing to that end. Going forward they are very good now IMO, with or without Suarez.
  8. Makes it sound like a f***ing cult. It is. They believe in their entitlement bollocks down to the core. Yes they are a massively supported club worldwide but that's because of their past success. Their relative failure in recent times is never down to them as a club. It's always external factors such as Alex Ferguson, the FA, Howard Webb etc.. Makes for nauseating reading that article above.
  9. So frustrating knowing that he won't go for it, the massive mug that he is. Cisse Remy HBA Sissoko Cabaye Anita If I thought we were going to set up like this I'd be so excited for the season. As it is I'm full of our best current line up imo
  10. Fuck me. Two detestable clubs squabbling over the same detestable cunt. I really hope he moves to Arsenal, so the Liverpool fans can see him for what he really is and so that I can hate Arsenal again like I used to.
  11. The clock is ticking for this fool. On borrowed time imo.

    Loïc Remy

I know. Supporting NUFC, whether physically or just in cyberthingy, has become such a chore. We really should have a "martyr of the year award" to acknowledge the poor soul who has had to endure the most. IanW by a mile. Or Mike.
  13. Why? Because it will mean that LFC and Queen Kenny are not the only mugs that would pay over the odds for him? I hope you get stuck with him for the rest of his contract, or sell him for 750k next summer.

    Loïc Remy

Probably nicked it off that ML Trinder bloke. The training ground outpost.
  15. Not arguing that he should be an automatic starter. Certainly not on his form all of last season and large parts of the season we finished 5th. But he did have some incredible performances when tactically, he was needed (Man Utd 3-0 at home comes to mind). Not sure if you would bin him entirely because you think he's hopeless or not. I just disagree that he's a player "we'll go nowhere" with.
  16. Utter bollocks. On current form he shouldn't be starting for us, in a position I'd agree that we don't need to find a place for in every game. But he's not hopeless by any means, and can be useful if used in the right way by a competent manager.
  17. IMO if he's good enough, he's old enough. Full back however is one of the most sensitive positions to throw an inexperienced lad in the deep end. As has been said though, some youngsters actually thrive on the responsibility. Would be wonderful is he was one of those.
  18. Definitely, it's the ability to stretch a defence with real pace. This is why we shouldn't have been faffing about in the off-season. We are just over a whisker away from having a very dangerous first 11 that can produce some serious results on its day. Getting Remy and Gomis in, and keeping Cisse and the rest, will transform our football and results somewhat by default.
  19. Sorry like, but for the way it conducts itself as a collective, Liverpool Football Club is the biggest laughing stock anywhere. Not enough facepalms in the world for how far up themselves they are.
