Sell no-one, tie Krul/Colo/Ba on new long term deals, sign Benalouane or Samba, sign Cissokho, aim for the top 4. Samba can do one. Sport on with the rest. This really is a must! Ashley and Dekka I fucking beg you, don't be trolling us!

I'd hazard a guess at the technical definition being a form of minority religious worship. To me "cult" has a negative connotation. Sufism is basically Islamic mysticism, and has been practiced for centuries all over the muslim word. To me it's a far cry from being what one today calls a "cult".

HBA nearly quit football to become part of a Muslim cult - Sufism iirc and that it was a French rapper (Malik I think he was called) and his manager, that got him into it. His ego was too big to kiss the leader's feet though, so he left, it was part of his interview yesterday. Interesting lad, eh? Sufism is no "cult"

Not a picture of health.... http://www.nufc.co.uk/javaImages/b1/d4/0,,10278~9032881,00.jpg tbf he just spouts what the majority on here think, all our players are up for grabs providing we make a profit on them. On this occasion it was completely unecessary, honestly he went on for f***ing ages about it. We had to turn the radio off it was making us so mad. The bloke asked who was gonna score, Lowes talked for at least 3 minutes about who we were going to sell. It wasn't just that that p*ssed me off with the fucknut pre match on 5 live. When he was asked whether they could still call it SJP, he replied with something like 'Yeah, I don't think we need to start seriously calling it Sports Direct Arena until the St James' Park sign on the corner is taken down or replaced'. It sounded like a direct challenge to Llambias to get on and do it. Did you hear him say he'd have more respect for them if they did? Yup. Seemed to insinuate that they've changed the stadium name half-arsed, and that he'd respect them more if they had more bollocks and conviction toward the name change, and applied to have all the sign posts changed as well. -

Games like this one are more about the day out than they are about willing your team on to get 3 pts to some people. Can't expect everyone who goes to be fully immersed in the support and the league table. What? You pay your money to watch the match, if you don't want to be fully immersed, it was on the tele, and im sure it can form your background noise as you nibble on your sunday roast. Not saying I agree with it. Just saying that some people just go in order to have a day out with family/friends or what have you! They'll cheer on the goals, and casually watch the game, but not necessarily follow and analyze every move on the pitch. I think it's a more likely explanation than "cunts go to the match to purposely create a shit atmosphere". -
Fixed.

But if tottenham have enquired over krul, its good to know where we would stand. I'd be devastated if we sold Krul for anything less than 20m. Seeing as it could be slackjaw 'arry, price should go up to 35m. In fact we should go with the 35m mantra for all our big players.

In Hazard's case, I beg to differ. He's a special player. So with him CL would be a shoe in? Thats the only way dekka would do it. I reckon he would make a crucial difference to our attacking potency yes. Imagine him swapping wings with Ben Arfa behind Ba. Insane.

Defoe is a good explosive player. Not sure how long that will last though. Would laugh and say well done to Spurs if they can fleece LFC out of 10m for him.

Wilkins is a grade A twat. But this and But that, but but but but but but. Nauseating commentary.

Their home record is nearly identical to our away record. A draw would be decent here. -

That was a beauty of a goal!! What a great turn and finish by Best. As been said, game of two halves in a half. Shame it took for Cabaye to get injured for HBA to come on. Have a feeling he will bamboozle a weary QPR defence 2nd half, especially with some on their tip toes due to the yellows. -
always have a look in there when I need cheering up. Makes everything right as rain again

absolutely loving this thread JP9 FTW!

Unsung hero since he's been back. Excellent acquisition by the club. He's rarely let us down, and when he has it was down to injury or rustiness. Hope he continues to improve. Such a threat from set-pieces. Due a goal or five!

so basically any player that is doing well for us Pretty obvious the media's all-out assault on us this transfer window. We're easy bait having let go of Carroll on the last day last season, and talk of us being a selling club has become cliche and common place. Easy work for the journo scum. Plus there's the element who are jealous of our progress this season, and the fact that we've actually pulled off some decent results and ruffled a few feathers. They can all go fuck themselves.

Since the Bosman ruling came into effect, power in football shifted dramatically into the hands of the players and their agents. Ba is a prime example. It is true that his knees were a sticking point for any club that was trying to sign him, but I'm fairly certain that any club would have taken the chance on him, given the free transfer. What we don't know is how badly Pardew/Carr/Directors wanted Ba. Did they see him as a cheap option, and were still determined to bring in another forward (Erding/Maiga), or was he really the man they wanted to lead the line, and could see his real potential. For all we know, his form at West Ham was a purple patch, and he could've gone on to post mere average numbers in terms of goals and appearances for us. I reckon the contract he was offered here directly reflects how badly we wanted him here, and the vision that Pardew/Carr had for him at this club with this squad of players. Was he just another body, or was he going to be the main man (Carroll's replacement). If the club really knew what they were signing, I would find it difficult to believe such a low trigger clause exists. However, if he was signed as a cheap squad option, then I would find it quite plausible that such a clause does exist in his contract, especially if he is on a pay as you play deal, with an option to ditch should the knees become a major problem. IMO the key is in how we planned to use him from the off. Did he just take everyone by surprise, including his own bosses, with his current form? or was he well scouted, and the club knew exactly what they were doing signing him?

LFC can fuck itself. I wish LFC would fold in on itself and implode, forever. I sincerely would not miss them if they ever ceased to exist in this league or any other. The entire aura about the football club from top to bottom, managers, players and fans is vomit inducing. Hope they keep their filthy stubby little scouse fingers off of Demba Ba. If the lad should go I hope he'll have more sense than the two numpties Enrique and Carroll.
