  1. Very impressed with Nathan Redmond, playing on the right wing for Brum. Skill, pace, and a great cross for the goal. Played things first time, but can also beat a man when he needs to. Lovely little player.
  2. I'd take a rusty Williamson to start at home to Swansea, but not an injury prone Williamson. If he's still on the brink, I wouldn't risk him. If he's fit but a little rusty, I'd go for it.
  3. A load of my Liverpool supporting mates are crying into their cornflakes at this result. Makes me so happy
  4. Can't believe how many decisions Chris Foy got wrong today. If I were a Spud I'd be fuming tonight. Shambolic performance by the refs of late.
  5. No surprise at the manner of defeat. No gripe with Pardew until they got their 3rd. Should have injected urgency and Ben Arfa into the game. They got nervous, especially after Ba pulled it back to 3-2. Ridiculous decisions from Gosling (to concede and get sent off), and the needless foul from Perch. On the positive side, we know Santon exists, and can play a bit. Solid on his debut. Demba Ba is a very very good forward and scored two brilliant goals. Cabaye was good in midfield, but had too much to do. Simpson coped, Perch struggled. Obertan and Jonas anonymous. Roll on Swansea
  6. Shocking decision by the linesman. Makes up for the hand ball i suppose
  7. you think I'd feel sorry for a classless cheating little dweeb of a human being like Suarez? Fuck him and fuck Dalglish
  8. The fans didn't trust Ashley back then (and obviously still don't), so had nothing to be happy about when replacing Hughton with Pardew. I genuinely would love to know how the appointment of Pardew came about. Did they listen to what he had to say and were insightful enough to recruit him on that basis? Or was it jobs for the boys? If Ashley genuinely had faith in him to produce the stuff on the football pitch and get results, then I hope he will continue to back him this January, as it is really crucial that he does. Well done AP
  9. I literally lol'd at that cheers Neil
  10. I believe that was saved by Cech, if it's the flick you're on about. His header hit the post. Bloody good header mind.
  11. I thought at the time "that's the Coloccini in him". Terrific bit of skill, and I bet he picks up the confidence to do that from his captain
  12. Couldn't stop laughing driving in the car listening to the penalty save and subsequent goals for Wolves. Also, apparently O'Hara handled the ball just before Fletcher's 2nd? Even better
  13. This is a painful body blow for us. One really has to hope we strengthen in January, else we're fucked. So gutted for the lad. For all his faults he's a quality blood and thunder defender who can actually play a bit. Get well soon.
  14. Redknapp and Spurs can cough up 25 million for Krul or go and do one. Much much prefer the latter.
  15. Agreed. Which is why I'm desperate for Ashley not to fuck this up this time. We really do have a good thing going on, and if he allows Pardew to strengthen in January we could really push on and get somewhere. We have some fabulous players, who with a stronger squad and a couple of additions can bring back the good times.
