Players in that position have to take risks sometimes to stop imminent attacks. That turn when he first came on and touched the ball! You can see the 4 Spurs defenders completely taken aback by it. One drop of the shoulder and he's pulling defenders out of shape. Magic.

I imagine, it is because normally the game naturally becomes more stretched in the second half of games. When he has space to run into, he is class. The run and ball through to Cisse was evidence of this. Aye but he just doesn't seem to make any kind of effort before the 50 minute mark. Just jogs around making ridiculously predictable passes and runs. So frustrating.

For some reason, this guy always seems to come alive midway through the second half. His pace and power running with the ball on the counter is devastating. Didn't have a good game today iMO, but he's so dangerous when he's in full flight. Shame it only happens for 15 or 20 minutes per match.

Did well to parry the shot from Kane away from goal and away from the 3 spurs players right in front of him. Save from Lamela (?) one on one was pretty decent as well.
