  1. Aye how thick is he. "Keeping it for the sake of it" . He's a pards fanboy isn't he? Won't stop going on about Perez not tracking back. Uber cunt.
  2. Changed it to Mahrez last night. But might change back
  3. So much love in this place! Happy new year everyone
  4. http://i.imgur.com/VDjowbk.gif Does anyone else now only see Mike as this guy?
  5. They've played about 5 games between them They literally couldn't be any worse tho Disputing the would revitalise us part, not against giving them a go. No evidence to suggest they'd revitalise us I think to a degree it would, I feel like I've said it a million times, but currently all an opposing team has to to worry about is our right side. Even the thought of a left side attack would revitalise the look of the team and how we are managed by opposing defences There's absolutely no doubt that two young players who might not yet have been pardewed or maccad might go into games with a little less fear and hesitation. No reason at all to not play the likes of those two when all the other options are clearly not working.
  6. There goes my optimism for 2016. Cheers Dave
  7. 3 posts in nearly 7 years. Great post even if I don't personally agree with all of it.
  8. We need this fucker fighting fit. Get on with it ffs.
  9. great stuff! take Cairo yasell!! joeyt is a legend amid his pyrs.
  10. Watch him closely, he only shows when there are no opposition players nearby at which point he can receive a ball in a safe place. Stop it dead, shift to his left foot and roll it to Dummett. Whenever the ball is moving forward or other players are nearby the runs he makes are into areas where he can't be passed to, so it looks like he's looking for it but is actually hiding in clear daylight. See also Jenas, J. Top post. Also, even when he's in space, sometimes it looks like his mind has wandered off somewhere else. On several occasions against WBA he was stood near the center circle, totally unmarked and on his own, and he struggled to control simple passes from Mbemba and Janmaat because he just wasn't on his toes. I only remember one or two occasions when he actually shocked me by passing the ball forward quickly into good space for Dummett to run on to, but that was about it. He's fucking awful, and has no saving grace whatsoever. I might even have been able to stomach him if he was a positively aggressive loud-mouth radgie and did his running around with intensity, but he isn't even that.
  11. Same here, oddly enough. She's never watched a game in her life but always asks "What's Pav up to these days?" every few months due to how nice he was at the training ground on a few occasions in 1994. Always remember I was up in Glasgow to see Supergrass and couldn't make Arsenal away so give my Mam my ticket to go with my dad and brother. She had a season ticket but her interest was waning after KK's departure and Pav losing his place in goal. As it was pre mobile technology info was thin on the ground especially with being in Scotland the same day. Fortunately I caught some team news in a newsagents on their radio and heard there had been an injury in the warm up and Pav was playing. He went on to have a blinder as we hung on for a 0-1 win. Never forget ringing my Mam the next day from Sheffield Leadmill before heading home (I'd travelled straight down to see The Verve the next day from Glasgow to find out the gig was cancelled due to Ashcroft being ill (I think)). What was I saying about mobile technology! Never heard her so happy in my life as I listened to her match report. R.I.P Pavel - Forever a Geordie Just started reading his book in the last hour and he was also Freddy Shepherd's mothers favourite player. "Son, this is the best player at the club. You'd better give him a good contract" The book is good so far. He's already spoke disparagingly about lots of people I hate in the first chapter (Allardyce, Carr, Bramble, Owen, Ian W, Emre etc). http://www.amazon.co.uk/Pavel-Geordie-Srnicek-ebook/dp/B018832VNO
  12. The very definition of cult hero. I'll never forget the save he made diving at Stan Collymore's feet against Liverpool. He was the embodiment of bravery and passion when the club defied all the odds on its meteoric rise to the top of the football ladder. Hope you had a good life Pav. Rest in peace.
  13. The moment the man who had inflicted so much misery on others finally felt it himself. ...And we're now playing beautiful majestic football of course We are now a Ford Fiesta and we drive like one. Under Pardew we were a Mercedes that drove like a Cortina. So the team that we added 3 first team players is a Fiesta but the original was a Mercedes? LOL Was obviously on about the team that contained Cabaye, HBA et al. But carry on.
  14. That just isn't true at all. He's so slow to react and sends hospital ball after hospital ball because he hasn't got a clue what to do (His attempted forward lob pass to Sissoko on the counter second half was comedy gold). He has zero intensity about him which makes his lack of athleticism in the middle stick out like a sore cock. A player of his body type should have guts and a footballing brain to make up for it (see Cabaye as an example), and this guy has absolutely nothing about him. He'll have the rare brain-fart when he actually does something good, but it's so inconsistent you have to think it's by accident.
  15. But opinions are better than facts bro. Fact.
  16. Henke's post of the year describing this arsehole gets better and better with every match. He really is nothing more than an empty plastic bag floating around the stadium of light. No character, no talent, no athleticism. Boggles the mind.
  17. Did a massive dive for a pen v Swansea. Didn't get it so had ructions with half the Swanseas squad instead. But Martinez said he wasn't the malicious kind of guy. I'm so confused now.
  18. Some of the excellent level-headed posts in this thread getting lost among the absolute pedantic drivel being spouted all over. Some of our fans are exasperating. Seriously.

  20. Not his worst match but he's still an absolute itchy scrote.
