  1. He must be good....most of them want QPR to go out of existence now!
  2. Something like "Oh Newcastle Good times never felt so good (so good it's unbelievable)" Aye, could just change that part, so it'd be... Hands, touching hands, reaching out, Touching mee, touching youuuu.... Ohh, Newcastle, du du du.. Good times never felt so goood, I've been inclined, du du du.. To believe it never would... United, United! ? Maybe just start off at the "Ohh, Newcastle..." bit?
  3. Basically, its either Smith or Nicky Butt. I'd choose Smith any day.

    Football pet hates

This ridiculous blind faith Liverpool fans have in Benitez. Why? And just Liverpool FC in general nowadays, honestly can't stand that club.
  5. Just the Gallowgate tbh. Rest of the ground is pretty s**** other than Level 7 (all of it). Lower Leazes is better than the Gallowgate imo. I can see the lower Leazes all game and about 10 people stood up when 7k or so people in level 7 were singing stand up if you love the toon against West Brom. Yeah they dont like to stand up. I'll give you that. Cheers, fellas. Quite a few of the matches I see in the PL have more than one area standing. Some have smaller pockets of fans scattered around the ground standing, whilst White Hart Lane normally has beside the away fans and a bit on the far mainstand on their feet. Its normally the same in places like Old Trafford, Villa Park and Upton Park. There a few places that spring to mind. Despite SJP having a 'Singing section', there doesn't seem to be any other areas of the ground where people stand or sing loudly....which is a big shame. Maybe our home support gets more and more miserable every year?
  6. Saw that. Smashing goal, but I never like to see Juve underachieve. Themselves and Parma I have a lot of time for...
  7. Right you are. Unfortuantely, we'll probably play Geremi there....
  8. Unfortuantely, I haven't been to an NUFC match for years ( ), so can someone tell me this; aparet from the East stand, do people mind you singing outside the Level 7 area? i.e The Gallowgate or Milburn?
  9. A midfield four with a fit Joey Barton in it would improve us significantly, imo. Guthrie---Barton---Smith---Jonas Solid, basically. Plus, Barton can pass a football but unfortuantely isn't blessed with pace.
  10. He didn't have to go 4-5-1 in the first half and give the game away in the first 45 minutes. You can't blame the ref for that and you can't blame the ref for Hughton being clueless. His line-ups are looking more and more like those of Allardyce and he's also looking more and more like the worst of Roeder. I'm guessing it was more of a 4-4-1-1. Again, this is something people have been wanting him to try, with Nolan playing off the front man! But it didn't work and all of a sudden he's tactically inept. I'm sorry, that isn't fair. Pilko got it spot on saying people choose to ignore plaudible decisions from Chris, yet when it goes pear shaped the fire under his ass is stoked.
  11. 2-1. They have a young side so its best we get stuck into them from the start. We MUST win this at all costs, or the wheels could really start to fall off. Hopefully Simpson will be back for then. Btw- anyone know when Barton will be ready for selection?
  12. Can't really blame him today. As people said, he tried Guthrie in the middle- we wanted that- but it didn't work. He took Pancrate off at HT- which we wanted- and it had some effect. Albion had an extra man by the sounds of it. But why we were so lethargic in the first half is certainly up for debate as to whether Hughton should take a large portion of the blame for that. Otherwise you can't fault the bloke. No doubt, if we win our next game he'll be good enough again...
  13. Really starting to annoy me how many chances he misses.. Ditto. He's got a good chance to develop and get as many goals as he can this season in the Championship. If he plays in the PL next season he's really going to struggle.
  14. You'd think we'd be used to these performances by now. F*cking hell...
  15. I think Ranger should have been partnering Ameobi or Carroll up front today.
  16. Fuuuuucking hell! This is a massive blow for us. Curtis Davies would be an ideal replacement, imo. We should bust a gutt to get him in. I don't even want to begin to think what would happen to us should Enrique get struck down..
